The Westin Los Angeles Airport

We drove in from Phoenix to have our first booked place cancel on us, then we booked a second place that canceled on us. By the time we got to the Westin I was in tears. Patrick was AMAZING and so sympathetic and helpful.

It was way more than I originally planned to spend but other than that, it was perfect.

Property was nice very and clean

The confirmation email had one pricing for parking and the hotel had another one. Upon check-out the staff didnt care after bringing this misleading information to her attention she didnt even acknowledge the mistake. Very poor customer service skills she seemed upset that she had to work.

The hotel was nice, clean. staff was very friendly, very helpful. We were there for a concert. They even had accommodations to get us to and from the stadium

The plus - it was an easy drive to the rental car return.

The negatives - $74,00 Self parking fee - we did not use this lot. It was down a side road and did not appear to be very well lit (we arrived at night) and we could not tell if there was access directly to the hotel, or if you had to walk outside on the street to go from the hotel to the lot. Instead we parked directly across the side street in an outdoor lot for a fraction of the price. Staying at this facility for just an overnight place to land due to an early flight out of LAX - parking at this outdoor lot for $24.00 via SpotHero was a much better option. Additionally, there was an automatic "resort fee" of $23 added to my card at checkout, despite the fact that we arrived at 11 pm and checked out at 6 am - making it impossible to even take advantage of any "resort amenities" that this charge was for. There were no linens/pillows for the pullout couch and when we requested them from the front desk, we got sheets and one pillow. So blankets and additional pillows had to be pilfered from the bed in the bedroom. It was a sparse room, not even a box of tissues in the bathroom. The street noise is awful.
