This was a very charming place to stay at an excellent location. Staff was great.

Had heat issue in my room. it didn't work. the next morning was very cold and they gave me a space heater which was great. The night staff should have done that for me when i said heat didn't work. other than that i loved it and would stay again.

Excellent hospitality staff - The wind took out a significant part of the electricity in the area on New Year's Eve for about 6 hours. The staff brought out lanterns and continued serving cookies, coffee, and wine to guests who chose to stay. They also were very patient and helpful to those who chose to move on to different hotels, although most were also without electricity. This next coment does NOT reflect on the hotel itself - Kirkwood Collections should seriously consider providing a back-up generator to this property, as outtages are becoming more common in this central coast region.

Well kept, staff was attentive, location and reasonably priced.

The location was perfect for my needs. 20 minute walk along the coast to the Monterey Bay aquarium. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast of yogurt parfait and homemade scones was delicious, and the complimentary glass of wine in the evening was a bonus.

This is an old building with single pane windows, so expect to hear some road noise. If that's a problem for you consider taking earplugs.

the Charm of this Victorian was perfect and well maintained too! our room 22 was quiet and the heater worked well ! the bed was comfortable and bedding cosy. Nice to have hot drinks all day long with bakery items too !

the Breakfast needed variety and Eggs/ ham/ bacon / protein .. although the yogurt parfait was excellent (don’t change those ! ) and the fresh scones were great too , just only sweets got to bee too much every day the same . ( reason I could not give a 10 rating overall)

The heritage inn and our room where very nice. It was within walking or short driving distance to the sites in the immediate area. The breakfast was good as well as the home baked treats and wine in the late afternoon. None of this was mentioned on the Booking.com site so it was a lovely surprise. The reception staff was very pleasant.

Bathroom tub stopper did not work. It would stay in the up position. There was no remote for the bedroom tv

excellent location for all the amenities,free parking. All staff were friendly,nothing was ever a problem

No lift .

The staff was super friendly. Free cookies were offered the day, as well as a daily breakfast consisting of yogurt with granola and scones. Hot drinks always available in the main room (with table games and cards). The hotel is small but cute, very close to the beach walk path towards Monterey.

Breakfast was our fav! Fresh fruit with yogurt and scones to die for! So close to the Ocean in one direction, the cute little downtown area and a 30 min walk or so along beautiful stretch of water to the Marine Aquarium. Also, we had complimentary wine every evening! Very charming and fresh!

Nothing really, no complaints, only if they could have improved the weather! 😜
