The location: very close to Asilomar and walking distance to Pinos Lighthouse and Monarch Butterflu trees. The staff were helpful and couteous.
Yikes- chipping pains, dilapidated balcony we were afraid to walk out on because it didn't look safe, weirdly "burned" looking outlets.... I can go on.

The location was nice. It is an older facility and they are in the process of renovating. The breakfast was in the office. The room was clean, and bed comfortable. I had a balcony which was nice to leave open to hear the waves. The pool and hot tub were nice. I stayed in a King room with fireplace. I am returning but am looking forward to their upgrades to the hotel. Staff was friendly.
Bathroom near the pool wasn't working. The office smelled, most likely from the old fish tank. The breakfast 'free' was meh!

Great location and cozy. Very close to tourist spots but not so much that it was crowded. Loved how close it was to walk to the beach. Fireplace in the unit was cozy for the late night.
AC unit was complex. I was unable to adjust the temp easily. 1st floor - No private balcony. It was open to the parking lot and the screen door was broken. It was uncomfortable leaving the door and curtain open.

We loved the location and the area with the fire pits outside of our room. We also loved the cleaning staff and the staff that serviced the free breakfast. The dining area was very nice and the breakfast that was included was very yummy.
Didn't like the gal that checked us in..she was very snotty. The room did not look like the pics on booking.com and I paid more for it. the balcony was horrible and didnt even have a table..the side view was of trash and broken down trees..there was trash in our room under out dressers that wasnt cleaned..the room had broken items in it and just didnt seem clean
