Great location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and reasonably sized-rooms for mid-Manhattan, with all the important basics you would need - comfortable bed, well functioning bathroom, decent wifi, safe, coffee machine etc.
Lack of assistance when entering the hotel with suitcases (no doorman and doors that are not automatic), not enough plug points in the room (all taken up by lamps, coffee machine etc.) and a cooling system that was either turned the room frigid or too warn.

We liked the new bath fixtures--modern and clean.
The room's carpet looked in need of cleaning.

Great staff, great location.
A/C in the room did not operate efficiently Turned on every 2 minutes and was loud. The room was either too cold or too hot, was never a comfortable temperature. Bathroom faucets and downspouts were loose, poorly maintained. The phone in the room didn't work. I had to go to the lobby to ask for maintenance and order room service (from the 7th floor).
