I love the location of the villa motel and how close of a walk it is to the wonders of San Luis Obispo.

A business reflects who is running it. It's a very comfortable atmosphere. The owne quietlyr takes pride and genuinely cares about her patrons and their stay when they are at her motel

My incredibly hard-working hostess and her mom gave me great advice as to where to eat and what to do: Lure Restaurant was great, as was the incredible Farmer's Market. The bed was comfy, and everything in the room and bathroom worked fine. SLO always has great shopping and things to see. It is always odd when no exterior lights are on after dark (the motel sign and the lights by the doors), but I'm assuming they are passing on those savings in electricity to us, as the rate was very good for the area.
While the exterior of the building has recently had a nice new coat of paint, clearly it is time for new curtains (mine had a grim brown stain) and bedstead backs (the surface of mine was peeling off). It is always odd when no exterior lights are on after dark (the motel sign and the lights by the doors), but I'm assuming they are passing on those savings in electricity to us, as the rate was very good for the area. It was sad to see the landlady doing all the room work; she seemed exhausted. And where is the fixit man?

The building is old and needs renovation and painting
The A/C unit was inefficient and did not properly cool the room
The carpet in the room was old and needed to be cleaned or replaced
Some of the lamps did not work because switches were broken
TV is smaller screen with limited free channels
