Very clean hotel with large rooms and good beds. Everything you need is in the room. Plenty of food places outside within 5-15 minute walking distance. CalPoly is less than 5 min drive.
Everything else is as in description.
A bit outdated. Not much, but small things.
Toiletries of low quality, hairdryer blew cold air only.
Not much else.

Great location; in close driving distance to CalPoly, downtown SLO and the freeway. Felt safe and got a great price! We appreciate the friendly employee at the front desk.
Great value and would stay here again, but it felt like an older 2-star that could use a remodel, but then we would have to pay a lot more per night. Room 316 could use a new mattress and new pillows. Guessing the hotel is trying to save on their water bill by using an ultra-low-flow shower heads. Plan on needing extra time for showering here.

The location was great.
That there were multiple issues that occurred staff did their best to fix the issues but this is something that should’ve been checked prior.
