Ocean Resort

LOCATION and all rooms are BEACHFRONT They have nice flavored cold water in the lobby, which is a very very nice touch and the water is delicious. Also free coffee. You can walk right out the door and you’re almost right on the beach.. Parking is good if you can get the lot in front of the building if not you have to park across the street which is understandable if they don’t have the room. You also feel safe here. We did enjoy our stay and I come back to the Ocean Resort. I like that they drop the price of a room pretty good in September for people on a very tight budget otherwise I would not stay here.

I always wonder why these places will not do a little TLC. For instance, the Balconies around the windows and the balcony floor need a good painting and it doesn’t have that nice shiny clean Appearance. It seems like the rooms need a real good cleaning. I mean come on they charge $1900 for four nights in the summer time and they can’t have someone buy a little bit of paint and spruce the place up like the balcony… even if you look at the walls in the office when you check in they are scuffed up and needs some TLC. A lot of these places do not want to put money back into the building and I cannot figure out why not… When you punch in the television channel like it says on the card, the station does not come up. You’ll have to go through the whole thing looking for the station you want. Refrigerator worked well. One out of the three icemakers in the building worked.

Concert next door was way too loud when we were sleeping.

Located between 24th and 25th St on Atlantic, easy walk to Starbucks. Close to 295 and lots of shops nearby.

My rug was a little dirty and long hair in my tub.

The staff were all very nice!

Everything was out dated! You only had 1 reg. Pillow, the another 2 were very small. Bedding & furniture were awful. 1 chair on balcony had a big crack on it. When I took a shower, there was water in the tub, that took forever to drain during my shower. Blow dryer did work. I did get a new one from staff. Hallway & elevator were very hot!
