Room next to noisy terrace

On site options for food and entertainment.
Lack of communication after calling and texting multiple times trying to get a human being on the phone. Tried to add a night at the beginning of the stay and could not get a call back from anyone, so booked it online and then one night into the stay someone finally called me and tried to get us to switch rooms, which eventually was rectified.

The historic charm and location
There was not any reception/front desk support. I have stayed previously so I was familiar with the property. They were not super responsive by text or phone.
6 / 10Nella media·set 2026
The non staffed hotel was disappointing. Communication via text message was not very personal and we weren’t able to get extra towels until the next day. We made it work but it was a disappointing and impersonal experience which would have been great otherwise. Also it made the lobby of the hotel depressing.

"The building was beautiful and the check in process was super quick and easy. I wish all hotels ran like this one!"
