Perfect location, nearby restaurants, bars, shop Mercado (which is awesome btw), also very close to Playa de Malagueta.
Staff was very kind and helpful.
Hotel itself was okay, i mean price was equal to quality. I’m not picky person, but ants in my bad is too much. Behind our bad were mess, and there were ants marching on the walls and in the bed.
One minus (but that is individual) is just too firm mattress.
Breakfast was okay, usual, eggs were disgusting (overcooked and grey, without taste).

It was convenient to the beach and to town. The staff were welcoming and the lobby was filled with comfortable leather couches and chairs. The decor was quirky with old phone booth and switchboard and ceramic light switches. The room was spacious.

The hotel is well located with a short stroll to either the beach or the city. There is a good view from the roof terrace. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the property is very clean.
Ironically for the By Pillow hotel, the pillows were really hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast choice was quite limited but adequate overall.
