Nice cosy hotel, nice admosphere in summer time with his privet garden.
Need to be fast and reserve a parking space, not so many spaces free. Room start to get old in specially the bathroom but it is clean. No air con , issue in summer with high temperatures as this summer but their is a ventilator in the room, for one night it was OK.

Good location to access Winchester city.

Initially reception wasn’t very welcoming .
Afternoon tea sandwiches were disappointing we asked for no egg or beef and were only provided with 2 varieties when website says 4 varieties .

The location is excellent.
The carpet in our room was worn, and very dirty; full of stains. The furniture was full of scratches and the bathroom tired. We wanted drinks in the garden Saturday afternoon, but was told all of the beer lines were being cleaned so none available. What a stupid time to clean beer lines, on a sunny Saturday afternoon. With all this in mind, I felt the cost of the room was extremely expensive. This didn’t feel like a four star hotel.
