We liked everything. The guesthouse is just 10 minutes away from Grassmarket and several bus stops are nearby. The staff was friendly, kimd and ready to help. Our room was just gorgeous: large, cleaned, equipped with fantastic furniture, a kettle, water bottles every day and a large bathroom. The Valentine was just the best option for us. We're coming back one day as we felt at home.
Everything was good. Maybe the lightning could be improved.

Very clean..facilities ok ..staff were friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately not informed would be a top floor room 3flights !!of stairs I do suffer with asthma..also very expensive for just a room! No other facilities.. no downstairs toilet.0h and no full length mirror in bedroom.more hangers and wardrobe! gave impression was a bed and breakfast.
