Lots of nice extras in the room (hand soap/hand lotion/good choice of beverages/biscuits/tv)plus the added bonus of a comfortable sofa. The breakfasts are good, offering plenty of choice and locally sourced produce. Hosts were efficient and friendly. The room was clean with a good supply of quality towels and the bed linen was of high quality too.
Victorian property = stairs…lots of them. Plates for a cooked breakfast could have been warmer (as could the ramekins in which beans etc were served).

Window was damaged and had to have a block of wood to keep it open in the heat wave. The bathroom floor was coming up and we had mould on the individual milk carton that we opened from the drink tray. The bathroom had cotton buds in a clear container which were stained I assume from the sun or time.
