Lovely location Proper traditional pub and great to see it so busy. Great beers and good food. Steak pie was delicious and with homemade mushy peas. Fish & chips pretty good, the fish was slightly over cooked. Staff were very friendly, waitress a little forgetful but she was very busy. Breakfast was good, excellent poached eggs. Fantastic Shiraz! Room was comfy and clean.

A slightly later breakfast would have been good, last sitting at 9:15am is quite early for us but that’s purely personal preference.

I loved everything about the stay. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly, nothing was too much bother. The food was delicious. We had dinner and breakfast there and both wonderful. The rooms had everything we needed for a short stay and parking onsite was great. A stunning little village and easy access to everything we needed.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Clean and comfortable but was disappointed with having to dry ourselves on hand towels. Never come across this before always had bath towels
