The whole staff was wonderful, we were greeted enthusiastically before our check-in time and were allowed to leave our bags in the office while we did some exploring. Our room was spacious and beautiful, and I loved the design of the common areas. It’s clear a lot of thought went into every detail! Oh, and the complementary cakes and brownies that are available 24/7…. We were sad to only stay for one night! Would definitely book again for our next visit.

The location was amazing. It's really close to the old town and there are plenty of restaurants/ bars everywhere you go. The hotel itself was great, if you're looking for a boutique hotel for you trip, stop the search. You've found it. The staff are so lovely, they made our stay so comfortable and they shared so much local knowledge and really helped us with dining recommendations and areas of interest. The breakfasts were great and nothing was any trouble.

Lovely setting. Great breakfast. Joanna was especially helpful.
The floors and walls are very thin. If you’re a light sleeper you will be woken by early risers etc.

The room with the terrace overlooking the garden was spacious and very comfortable.
The hosts were great and took time to help their guests with whatever they needed.
The nice touch of having cake, coffee and port available every afternoon was appreciated after long days walking around Lisbon.
No problems with anything but perhaps a small fridge in the room would be useful for keeping water etc cool.
