Location, first of all (reason for which we chose this hotel). Very close to Taksim Square, a very convenient transportation node (metro, buses, or funicular to the Karakoy port). The staff were very kind and helpful. Safety of the area was another plus.

In some places on the walls and ceiling, the plaster had fallen off. The light in the bathroom was too dim.

We stayed in this hotel for one night on our way from Moscow to Greece. Its location is very convenient if you come from IST by metro or by Havaist. It's also convenient if you want to see Sultanahmet as it was in our case. The hotel was clean and the bathroom was quite comfortable to use.

We booked a room with a kitchen because I have serious stomach problems and can't eat Turkish food which is fried and spicy. In fact it was impossible to cook. There was a cooker and a sink in the room but no dishes or pots at all. We only had two plastic cups and saucers for three people. There wasn't a kettle so it was impossible to make tea. It was the main disadvantage for me. Others were minor but I still want to mention them. When we checked in, there was only one towel in the bathroom and we had to ask for more. The shampoo container in the shower cabin was empty.

Ottima colazione, ricchissima. Per tutti i gusti. Posizione abbastanza buona, a pochissimi passi da piazza taksim. Collegata abbastanza bene con i mezzi pubblici. Altre note positive acqua calda perfetta e climatizzatore potente e funzionale. Personale gentile e sempre presente in reception. Nel complesso mediocre! Non saprei se consigliarlo. Ci sono stato due notti. Si può trovare di meglio.

La stanza assegnata non era quella che avevo visto nella foto della prenotazione. Nel caso avevo prenotato una suite superior e mi hanno dato una stanza normale. Letto scricchiolante, tanto che muovendosi leggermente fa un rumore di legno fastidiosissimo. Bagno mediocre, stretto e soprattutto con una puzza di fogna che ritorna su dai non so dove! Non c'è la ventola quindi la puzza non viene nemmeno portata via. Pulizia sufficiente, ma sarebbe potuta essere più pulita.
