Value and proximity to Tolcarne and Lusty glaze
Had a few issues but the value for money and the nice staff made up for it

Incredible little hotel with great prices. The staff are so wonderful, friendly and helpful. Both times i got lovely large clean rooms, comfy beds. I have no qualms about staying here for a third time, it was pleasant all round. Perfect location too.
I personally didn't dislike anything, however other people may find the age of the building and views from the back a problem if theyre perhaps snobbier than me. But I don't go to newquay for hotel room views or water pressure (seen that mentioned a few times in other reviews, it's cornwall during a particularly dry summer!) I found the pressure to be fine to clean myself even, with super long hair.

Location good fairly close to town and near bus stops.
Walls in bedroom were very thin which was not expected.
