Very nice, helpful staff.
Clean and comfortable accommodation.
Continental breakfast was excellent with a large variety of different options to choose from.
The Lodge is situated alongside a fairly busy road.

Great location for travelling around the lakes. The staff working there were wonderful and extremely helpful. The continental breakfast was exceptional, best we have ever had. It set us up for the whole day it was so wonderful. We would definitely stay there again as it was great value.

Great location
Just need couple of things sorting in the room, badly rusted heater and heating didn’t stay on, light above mirror in bathroom didn’t work and few cobwebs, no cleaners in 4 days so bin over flowing etc

The breakfast was good, and the staff were brilliant and friendly. Location near car parks for great walks.
The room was very basic needs updating, radiator had rust all over it, vulex window blind was mouldy, shower room mouldy. Does need a revamp, bathroom shelf was just about hanging onto the wall. also matress was not the best. Our tap in the bathroom was missing the tap end to turn it up and down. From the outside the lodge look great but inside is in need of some tlc. Also says had Netflix on the tv but would not connect to the wifi. Seemed more like a hostel than a lodge.
