The room was lovely with a comfy bed, good size, staff were pleasant and in a nice area.
My room was above an extractor fan from the kitchen which was really noisy. Unfortunately it ruined the experience for me as it was so loud. I came to the Lakes for some peace and quiet and sadly got the opposite. Everything else was lovely but this means I wouldn’t return sadly.

Excellent location in a small village. Pub was lovely with friendly helpful staff . The rooms were clean, modern & functional. Tea & coffee facilities also a small fridge. Easy access when pub isn't trading
Only downside which wasn't a problem to me was there's no breakfast. The local cafe about 5 mins down the road have an excellent menu with friendly staff & great value for money

Cory keeps this place going. He never seems to be off duty. He attends to things with lightening speed. Nothing is too much trouble. Very personable too.
No regular tv programmes as no aerial. Only apps. One bedside lamp in double room. Only small surface area available to use to make a cuppa. Stayed for three nights but no maid service, would have expected daily service.
