Unos 10 minutos a pie. Para subir hay que dar una vuelta para no subir escaleras.
Que atiendan el timbre más rápido para abrir la puerta. Pero es solo un detalle

We arrived at early of Christmas Day and they let us check in right way after we got to the hotel. The staff were nice and helpful. Nice breakfast was a plus. Good location. The room had heater and it was really nice to have. The building is very pretty.

Another great place in Peru. Nice room, comfortable bed, good location and reasonable price and the beautiful San Blas neighborhood of Cusco. Breakfast was also decent, I've had better and I've had worse, but there were perks that I appreciated: always available hot water, coffee; fridge in the room, etc.
I was happy to be there for a few days so this is really for other people to know about the place. The lobby/common area is not really designed to hang out and socialize; there's no rooftop cafe/bar area or anything like that... There are incredible accommodations in Cusco but if you want more, you'll need to pay more...

location.
false advertising here:
room with a fireplace - yes, there was a "fireplace" but it was an empty box with no chimney and ultimately useless. impossible to make a fire. I paid 3.3x the price thinking I could have a fire when cold at night, but nope.
also the "terrace" was inside overlooking the breakfast area and shared between 4 rooms, also useless.
the staff were good, but 2-3x I had to wait > 20 minutes to be buzzed in as entry is locked. I'd have been happy at the lower rate. also I got no room cleaning until the 4th day and they charge for extra toilet paper (which I bought elsewhere, thank you very much.)

Loved the Posada San Blas, bed was comfy and huge. There was a fridge in the room but we didn't really use it as Cusco was so cold on a night. Thankfully there was also a heater and the biggest/thickest blanket I'd ever seen to keep us warm.
Staff were friendly and breakfast was similar to a continental buffet.
Some breakfast elements were alittle hit and miss, one day there was juice and we were asked if we wanted eggs. The next day neither, i suppose we could have asked but my Spanish isn't very good. Would still stay here again though, without question!

My experience at Posada San Blass was terrible. While there are some positive aspects of the place, such as clean and spacious rooms with good equipment, the weak Wi-Fi and extremely poor breakfast were major disappointments. The pancakes were dry and lacked maple syrup, chocolate, or honey, and the bread ran out by 8:30 a.m. with no effort made to replenish it, despite breakfast being served until 9:00 a.m.
What was even worse than the subpar amenities was the rough and inflexible attitude of the hotel staff. As someone who has been traveling in South America for six months, I have never encountered such unwelcoming behavior. I was not allowed to bring a guest into the hotel, even just to drop off a jacket and use the bathroom, despite my attempts to explain the situation. Shockingly, the next day I received a message informing me that I was being expelled from the hotel for allegedly violating their rules, even though my friend never entered the room.
I felt deeply insulted and requested some time to gather my belongings, as I had only 45 minutes to do a forced check-out. The receptionist's response was callous, saying they didn't care that I had nowhere else to sleep and that it was not their problem. I strongly urge anyone considering booking a stay at this place to think twice before making a reservation

the only working attendant was amazing. I think the owner was there when we arrived but when we said hello she just walked away and was never to be seen again

This location is great if you do not have a car and would like to stay and explore the historic district of Cusco. The staff is very friendly and they serve a decent breakfast. We had a comfortable king size bed and there was sufficient hot water.
Our room was on the 1st floor, which is convenient. However, the room had no view and you can hear staff preparing for breakfast early in the morning.

This hotel is on a beautiful, quiet street with everything you need just steps from your door. It is very clean and our rooms (201 be 202) were so bright and nicely decorated. We had a view of the cobblestone street and tile roofs and bright blue balconies and shutters across the street. The staff was very helpful and kind. We were there during an airport closure and protests in the country but they made sure to have a lovely breakfast spread every morning and worked with us to extend our reservation and make sure we were comfortable. the shower was one of the best I’ve ever had! The decor in the room is fresh and colorful in a classy Peruvian style. The lobby isn’t as charming as the rooms and the rest of the hotel. You can see all of Cusco from the 4th floor! We felt very lucky to be at this hotel for our extended time in Cusco!

Location was great. easy access to local sites & restaurants.
The noise within the hotel was horrible. You can hear a mouse sqeak. The noise from the room next to me could be heard across the full hotel bus nothing was said to them to quiet down, all day all night they were way too loud.

The hotel was very clean and conveniently located to shopping. Easy walking distance to Plaza de Armas. Overall a good value for the cost.
No one on the staff spoke any English so communication was somewhat of a challenge. However, this was not a huge issue.

The staff was friendly and understanding, allowed us to cancel our reservation without charging a fee. For the 30 minutes we stayed in there it seemed that the room was clean - but that's all I can say.
The room we were assigned was different than the one we had booked. It was on the ground floor, with no access to natural light (it was pitch dark during the day). Because the room was in one of the corners of the hotel, we had no access to wifi - and no signal on our phone as well so we could not use our own data as well.
Both me and my friend needed to work remotely, which is why we had searched for a room with a desk and wifi connection - both things which Posada San Blas seemed to have. We stayed for 30 minutes there and then we had to go and search for a different hotel, which was not nice to to since we weren't feeling that great either.
