Great location for a trip to Durham University.
We arrived late and left early and the friendliness of staff after hours in the car was exactly what we needed. Room comfortable and breakfast an added bonus.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent and well priced. Free parking directly outside the front door.

Location, character, food, staff.
Cleanliness. Bathroom is not properly cleaned. Dusty surfaces and carpet. But maybe because it’s old and difficult to clean.
