Perfect for a solo traveller, nice décor, confortable bed, tv with the streaming services on it, good shower, friendly staff. Would recommend.

The staff were exceptional; JJ in particular with his incorrigible wit; nothing was too much trouble. A shout out too to the breakfast chef; she came out to explain how everything including the breads were freshly made; a fine selection and very tasty. The 'compact double' was fine and not cramped at all because of the well thought-out hangarage etc and shelving for cases; everything spotlessly clean.
The building's era and layout deliver some limitations (i.e. stairs to rooms); that said, we travel light & stairs are not an issue for us; we almost had to physically prevent JJ (staff member) assisting us!! :-)

The decor is Fab! Staff are very warm and welcoming! coffee machine in room was great
There was construction works oust side that woke us earlier than we would have liked
