This cute cottage was super clean and conveniently located right across from the park. My kids loved playing there and I could see them out the window. The golf cart was amazing for going to the pool and beach. Such a great hidden community. Can’t wait to come back!

Just the size for our group of 6. Very clean. The grill was spotless (which is unusual for rentals-nice!) good location across from park -the kids just ran out to play. On a dead end so not a lot of traffic. There were no instructions on how to work any of the TVs in there were three remotes for each TV which made it confusing. Then come to find out there were no batteries in the remote for the TV in the living room. I called the front desk for help and no one got back to me. There were six of us and they were only six bath towels. I would recommend at least two towels per person just my suggestion. These two complaints did not hamper our stay and I still give it five stars.

My family of 5 (3 adults, 3 teens) stayed 4 days and three nights in this unit. It was our 5th year at Beachwalk and 5th home. Out of all the houses we were disappointed with this one. We knew it would be small and further away from the beach. That is why we always pick a unit with a golf cart. The golf cart worked, but we had to charge it after each trip around the property. It almost ran out of power twice on our way back. The kitchen is very narrow only allowing 1-2 people at a time and that is tight. I suggested more cooking skillets and possibly plastic wear with lids. There is dishes and pans, but very random. Another problem we had was the upstairs toilet. It was constantly running and overflowed once. We had to mess with it the whole stay. This was mentioned to the management. They were very concerned and would have sent maintenence over, but it was our last night and we told them to look at it after we were gone.The mattresses were not comfortable and the living room furniture was old and tired. This would be ideal for a family with younger kids since the park is across the street. The unit could use some attention and be refreshed. For our family size and needs we would not pick this unit again. Overall we LOVE Beachwalk and plan to return for years to come.

The house was very clean and had everything you needed to make food at the property. It was convenient to have the playground directly across from the property for the kids to play at. The only complaint was the one bed was coming apart and was hard and the TV remotes needed new batteries but these are very minor things that did not impact our stay too much.

Although we experienced unseasonably cool weather we enjoyed out stay. Although not perfect Sweet Digs provided just what we needed for our family. Having a young child and being right across from the park was perfect! Cooking in was great but I wish the home would have had more dishes and cookware.

Sweet Pea was great; well stocked, sparkling clean. The house has 2 bedrooms with space in the loft for another person, which was great for my husband and me, daughter and husband, and grown son. There is a golf cart in their shed; it took us a while to figure out how to use the golf cart, but that was our issue!! There is a weber grill in the backyard, and a full kitchen. Beachwalk has tennis, kayaks, paddle board, swimming pool. The Beachwalk Lake Michigan Beach is beautiful, and we spent a lot of time on the beach. There were lots of small children around, and Sweet Pea is directly across from the playground. We would love to rent here again!

Home has a nice layout. The twin beds are actually one twin with a trundle. Golf cart key didn't work, but we were able to turn it on with a house key. One person in our party has some trouble walking, so the trek from the property over the dunes to the beach was a challenge, but we found easier access in the Beverley Shores area. Most important for prospective renters to know is the property is directly across the street from the playground. Convenient if you are bringing young ones, noisy otherwise. All in all a nice property most suitable for young families.

We had a great week at Beachwalk and on the beach. The house was fine for the 5 of us but, bedrooms very small. We were a little surprised with the maintenance of the house. One of the blinds was broken and hanging on window. Drains would not drain in the bathroom and bathtub. We called and the girl was very nice and said they would send someone. If they did, nothing changed. We had to wait quiet a while before it would drain and next person bath or shower. Liked staying in Beachwalk. The pool was nice and clean. Golf carts nice addition. Sweat Pea seemed to need some TLC. We travel often and for the amount of money we paid, this house was not what we expected.

Our house was clean & we liked the location of it. We had a nice time, we stayed at Beachwalk 12 years ago so this was our first time back since then. Our only concern was the quality of the property. The grasses are nice, but the property seems to be run down. Fences need painting & weeds need to be pulled. The area should be cleaned up more. We like the area & are concerned in 10 years if it continues to be neglected the property will no longer be a desired vacation spot. Our house needed more toliet paper!

It was cut short due to a death in the family. So we only had one full day there which we thoroughly enjoyed. We walked the beach, rode the golfcart around the property, shopped the outlet mall. It is a great place. I was unhappy that even after sending the obituary that the owner would not grant a full refund for the 2 nd night we missed.

Our stay at Sweet Pea was great! My husband and I stayed with our 3 boys ages 8,4 and 15 months over Labor Day weekend. The house was perfect for a family of our size and the park across the street was awesome for downtime between activities. We loved riding around the neighborhood in the golf cart and it made lugging items to the pool and beach a breeze. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect family friendly home. Comfortable, warm and homey. Great location with a park right across the street. It kept our little ones occupied between beach and pool adventures. Sweet Digs was perfect! The home is beautiful! It Was cool and damp out, but we had a great time! Our grandchildren LOVED the park across the street! The slide was a HUGE hit! We weren't able to enjoy the pool or the beach due to the weather. But, we stilled had a fabulous time! Friday night we had "make your own pizza" night. Our grandchildren enjoyed making their own pizzas and playing games! The golf cart made it extra fun! We went on golf cart rides often through out the weekend. Saturday we walked on the beach, played at the park and made smores and hot chocolate! The resort has movies you can check out. They came in handy when we needed our grandchildren to unwind for naps. I can't say enough about Sweet Digs! The home had everything we needed! The washer and dryer came in handy! The only thing that we didn't like was that our weekend came to an end!

This was our first time staying t Beachwalk and traveling to Lake Michigan. The office staff was very friendly and offered us tips on dining, shopping and literature about the area. The community itself, is very nice and well maintained. The streets are quite narrow do to all the cars parked on in front of the houses. The pool area was a bit small for the size of the community but clean and well kept. The house itself was clean and well kept. Nice finishes and decor. The family room sofa is a bit small for a house that accommodates 6 people but the room itself is very narrow. A few maintenance issues that we alerted the staff about were the dryer vents directly into the bathroom down stairs which made it hot and humid. There was a leak somewhere. Also, the grill was unable to be used because it was rusted out and would not light. We were really disappointed as we had just purchased steaks for dinner that night. The park across the street was great for our kids (6&9) and the golf cart was super fun. The shed had pool noodles, beach chairs and sand toys. Overall, we had a nice stay and will return.

We had a fantastic week at Beachwalk! Sweet Digs was perfect for our family of 5, including our three boys aged 1-6. The older boys loved sharing the loft bedroom and we had plenty of space throughout the home. The location is right across the street from the playground and the boys spent time over there every day. They made lots of friends on the playground! The community itself is wonderful, too. We enjoyed not only the beach, but also fishing, kayaking, bicycling, the putting green, etc. The community environment is very family friendly and comfortable. We had a great, relaxing time and hope to come back again in the future!

This is my third year at Beachwalk and I won't be returning. The customer service has been downgraded to the point of people being just rude in what appears to be a very laid back environment. DO Not let your child ride in your lap on the golf cart, you will be given some sort of ticket and treated like a criminal. Do not lose your paper wristband that falls off very easily or you will be charged 10 dollars to replace it. Do not sign up for camp activities in advance because there are no activities for children. Do not expect the coffee shop that opens at 7am to be open at 7:15. I loved staying here in the past because of the small community feel, laid back vibe and general fun for the kids. Something has changed and I will not return.

We were visiting family for the weekend and participated in the 2 Big Hearts 5k Run/Walk in Long Beach which was very convenient once we figured out the back road. Unfortunately we didn't spend much time there, mainly sleeping over night. The place was very nice.

We had a great fall getaway here with our two small children. They loved being across from the park and the tower room with the "treehouse" views and daybed trundle. We used the grill and the golf cart, and it all worked well. Kitchen was well stocked to cook and even do some fun baking together. House was immaculately clean and well decorated, very cozy. Good house layout for watching movies for the adults after kids go to bed. Quiet evening and morning hours in the neighborhood for a good night's rest for everyone. Highly recommend!

This is a nice location. House is roomy, but very slender. So it’s not as roomy as the pictures look, but there is a lot of space, it’s just divided into three levels. Top level was great for two of our girls with a cute space and a great view and trundle bed. 2nd level is a small room with bed and dresser. Good for one or two. Floor level has a tiny kitchen but well stocked with all you would need. There is a sitting area with tv and a couch. I’d say our only complaint is also a plus. You are directly across from a nice playground. Great for your kiddos, but not so great when people are playing at 10 at night and you hear everything. Golf cart use was so nice. We are a family of five. Great space for our size. Very clean and updated.
