Central Hotel bel étage

We had a comfortable stay at this small pension/hotel. We stayed for five nights, and the central location was great for us. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. The balcony was a nice extra, but as we were there in mid-September, it was a little too cold to spend much time on it. There is a restaurant in the building which looked inviting, but as I was in Hamburg for work and spent quite a bit of time in a different part of the city, I didn't manage to try it. Central Hotel bel étage worked well for us and made our stay in Hamburg very enjoyable.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be a light above the table/shelf. We also always appreciate a cosy corner in a communal area where guests can sit and read, although we realise there is probably not enough space for that.

Great location as it's so close to the train station. Comfy bed. Unexpected breakfast things provided since the room isn't advertised as such. Great citrus presser,so the fresh orange juice was a real treat.

The bathroom sink wasn't cleaned and full of small black hairs. A bit unappetising. Please warn customers that the front door is locked so it's necessary to open it first before disposing of the keys!

Great design, quality fittings, tastefully renovated room in a lovely house.

Nothing.
