La proximité du centre ville

Nous avons eu un souci avec le poste de télévision, image brouillée. Nous avons contacté notre hôte mais ce problème n'a pas été résolu, peut être que notre hôte ne pouvait résoudre cet incident.

Appartement très propre et décoré avec goût. Café, thé et condiments de première nécessité à disposition. Salle de bains moderne très agréable avec tout le nécessaire de toilette. Appartement très bien situé sur la magnifique Grand'Place d'Arras. Appartement très calme.

Canapé lit pas confortable. Réseau téléphone très mauvais même avec Orange mais il y a la wifi et elle fonctionne très bien. Il manque quelques ustensiles de cuisine comme par exemple poêles (il n'y avait que des casseroles), couteau à pain.

Die Lage war gut.

Das Bad war nicht besonders sauber; die Wasserspülung der Toilette funktionierte nicht gut, es dauerte sehr lange bis Wasser nachgelaufen ist und wir mussten zusätzlich einen Wassereimer nutzen. Die Dusche hatte schimmelige Fugen, der Abfluss war verstopft. Die Kissen der Gartenmöbel auf der Terrasse waren sehr dreckig und schwarz-schimmelig. Es war sehr laut, besonders durch ein bis spät in die Nacht laufendes Gebläse, das einen Ausgang zur Terrasse hatte.

A great centrally located apartment, perfect for a short stay

There is a nightclub in the same building as the apartment, and you can hear music and voices from that until 4.30am when it closes. There is also an air-conditioning vent for the night club in the private courtyard, which adds a lot of additional noise until about 6.30am. Very cramped for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, but ok for a short stay. Sofa bed wasn't made up for us, and we were told to do it ourselves, but couldn't find spare bedding in the apartment. Luckily we had our bedding in the car so used that. Very very hot at night, particularly as the double bed is on a mezzanine level.

Great host..excellent location..brilliant and comfortable flat with great amenities. Will be back

Location excellent, directly on the Grand Place. The apartment is very secure and quiet being at the back of the building. The apartment was very clean, good shower room. Plenty of toiletries and equipment (hair dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee and tea making equipment, water in fridge, coffee and tea available as were condiments for cooking. The host very pleasant.

Handover of keys was not good. Communcation a problem with only 3 minute access to free wifi on the Grand Place. Agreed handover time originally 14:00, then 15h. As we had no wifi access en-route we contacted the host at 15:03 to say we were outside the property. Finally accessed the property at 17:30. This was clearly due to communication difficulties. Solution to this would be a key safe located on the front door area, the host could then send the code to guests, obviating the need to personally make the handover. The terrace needs refurbishment, the cushions on the sofa and chairs weather stained. Solution would be covers to protect when apartment unoccupied. We had difficulties with the sleeping arrangements, probably due to our age and mobility. More suitable for younger guests than us -:)
