The location is excellent. Easy access to major train stations.
Room is small. Its more appropriate for business visitor. I booked an extra night and was allocated a bigger room with 2 twin beds. Room size was a lot better. I would recommend leisure visitor to opt for the bigger room although it may cost slightly more.
10.0
The free drinks, free udon and free coffee and tea.
Also the room was comfy, silent, no smoke smell, and the blinds were quite dark.

Stuff were very kind and nice.
There was a happy hour, you can drink several kinds of free drinks and noodle. It was nice.

Had a last minute cancellation and booked this hotel instead. 1 stop from Tokyo Central station, but neither the hotel is close to the train station, neither the area looks great. Affordable, I guess.
The room is just so inconvenient with the bed taking most of the space. Also all the hotel charges are not making it for a relaxed travel. Most hotels offer complimentary amenity bar, not this place, you actually need to pay to use the amenities like toothbrushes/bath salts. Most places offer plug converters/phone chargers in the room. Not this place, but can buy at the reception. Cleanliness also could have been improved.

This time is our second time to stay in SUI KANDA. We were satisfied with the staff and the hotel also the location that's why we stay again. And still same they help us so much and very well staff. The last time I really love the girl staff in the morning, she is so kindly helpful and friendly. And also two Japanese at night they help me so much eventhough they can't speak english fluently but they help much with their way to speak with me. Thank you so much. Sure we will stay again in SUI KANDA every we come to Japan. Once more I really like machine ice cube 😁

I enjoyed the free coffee & tea in the lobby as well as the free udon noodles in the evening. It wasn't far from the Kanda train station. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.
The rooms were extremely small and a double was the exact same size as a single. I did not expect that. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable in the first room we were in.

We stayed 2 nights and had no issues at all. The room albeit small had a MASSIVE bed that more than comfortably fit myself, parnet and child. The room was clean and unlike many hotels we've stayed, the window opened to allow fresh air. The hotel is located in a quiet side street with everything you need close-by and only 15 min walk to busy Ikebukuro.
Must make mention to the reception staff who were very kind. We hung around the hotel for some time after checkout due to a late flight and noticed a lot of use of the common area. Business people making use of charging ports, families sitting on the lounge chairs. I definitely made use of the free coffee every day and the hotel offers a free alcohol happy hour daily where different types of drinks wine/sake are nicely presented.
Reception was great, one gentleman in particular had exceptional customer service. He was very helpful to all, gave my son an apple juice and helped set up the pool table for us. Upon departure one staff member walked to the door as we exited to bid us farewell.

The room was well equipped despite being very small. Clean and efficient bathroom. Nice system of storing under the bed. Good to have laundry. Excellent blockout curtains. Great happy hour. Very quiet.
The queue for laundry machines is unregulated, so be prepared for that. Our room was facing a wall, we didn’t mind but some people may dislike it.

affordable and good location
room was really small

The hotel is within a great location to Tokyo Station and Akihabara with multiple train lines only a short walk away to be able to easily get around or out of the city. In the lobby they have water, tea and coffee all day and special alcohol service and soba at different times in the evening. The staff are really nice and the hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood.
While the room is clean it is showing a bit of wear and tear

The location is very accessible, few meters away from Kanda and Shim-Nihombashi stations. Konbini and restaurants are everywhere in the area. Akihabara is also walkable from the hotel. Staffs are friendly. There’s a free coffee and udon in lobby.
Hope they had more frequent room cleaning service.

- The drinks/udon services were wonderful! And the reception had a very nice atmosphere.
- Location was perfect, so close to multiple stations (Kanda station a 2 min walk and on the Yamanote line!) and also a nice area to just wander about. If down to walk, Akihabara is only 20 mins away!
- Check-in & out very easy.
- Room was a little small but easily overlook-able for all the positives of this hotel!

The location is unquestionably good, the very reason that I chose this hotel, just a 3-min walk from the JR Kanda station. Kanda is a station that can link so many spots without the need to transfer, and for the Chuo Line the most rapid train will still make a stop at Kanda, the next stop of Tokyo station--Tokyo station being so big that walking out of it can be an exhausting task. And a 5-min walk from this hotel are many Coredo department stores, providing many food choices when you are lazy to walk further (till 11 pm).
The cleanness is not as impressive as I remember it 3 years ago (maybe it's my own recall bias? or really it's because the managing group has changed).
The real problem I think is that the room is too "economical." There is a chair, but just one without a back. There is a desk, but only a folded one--you sit at the desk and then one side is just the wall, the TV embedded in it, and the other side at your elbow is just the bed.

If you are a solo traveler, and ok with a small room, but want a relatively large bed, the single room of this hotel is a great option. The bed is really well thought through, the draws, fridge and safe are in the under the bed and there is even a foldable desk in the very small room. There was a USB and plug at the head of the bed, as well as a universal plug in the room.
I stayed in this hotel in 3 types of rooms (superior twin and standard twin), the single room was the best thought through one (though the twin ones had rails to hang clothes)
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very little room to hang clothes, so may not be suitable for a long stay.

Location is very central, with access to the Yamanote-line and Ginza subway line in 5mins, and 2 other subways a bit further on by foot. Thinking about the location and the size of the room, and the fact that the hotel is relatively new, I must say that the price of the hotel is really good.
Coffee (hot/cold black/milk) available 24/7. Happy hour from 5-7pm and a tiny Udon bowl available from 8-10pm for free.
Wifi strength was great, watched movies on ipad with no issues even at peak hours. 2 laundry machines with choice of just wash or with drying available for fee. Only a few clothes hangers per room, but they lend you more if you ask.
Staff spoke several languages, and were very helpful.
Room cleaning was suspended due to Covid, and the room did get a bid dusty after a few days - but you could put out your bin, and ask for changes of towles, so that part was not an issue. Happy hour from 5-7pm, was ok.. not the best free happy hour drinks I have had, but it is a fun event which you might get to meet other people.
The room and bath may be a bit small for larger people, and no clothes closet.

it would be nice if there is breakfast serve.

Excepcionally clean, friendly staff, free coffee machine 24/7, great location (2 JR stations nearby)
Room is very compact, kinda hard to open luggages… couldn’t fit a desk but there is a foldable table to help organize things
