The staff was really nice and accommodating. We just didn't feel the room was very comfortable, but this was our first time at a Roykan.
The beds were really uncomfortable.

Very accommodating about dropping off luggage early. Close to a bus stop which was very convenient. Within walking distance of Kyoto Station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The washing machine is a huge plus for foreign tourists. Enjoyed the Onsen and wearing a kimono.
It was quite noisy. The dining room lacks atmosphere and is too stark.
