It was my first stay at a traditional ryokan. It is very centrally located in a quiet residential area. I was captivated by the tranquility and the beautiful architecture of the rooms and the inner courtyard. I had everything I needed. Unfortunately, my stay was too short to make use of any of the various services offered. I will certainly recommend it!

We stayed in the 4 bed room and had a little house to ourselves at the back of the property. Breakfast was tasty. Conveniently located to supermarket and train station.

If someone is smoking near the court yard you can smell it in the room. Only happened once.

Building and atmosphere, friendly staff

Private bath wasn’t what I expected.

Our stay was decent overall, but a specific incident ruined the experience. We expected the firm bedding common in ryokans, but we did not expect the total lack of noise control. On our second night, we were disturbed by guests several rooms away who were being extremely loud and inappropriate. ​Even with earplugs, I was woken up three times between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM by shouting and other disruptive noises. Both the receptionist and I were ignored when we tried to ask them to be quiet. It wasn't until I had to firmly confront them at the door at 3:00 AM that it finally stopped. The staff's inability to handle this situation was disappointing. A place of rest should never feel this chaotic.
