Staying here was such a dream and we could not have asked for a better experience. The accommodations exceeded all expectations, especially for our irregular group of five people. The host met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the place, and prior to leaving, had us participate in the tea ceremony. The private onsen was amazing, peaceful and quiet. The kaiseki meals were unbelievable, although, we could have managed with a little less food, as the courses were quite substantial. The location is also optimal, as it is a very short walk from Kyoto station. Definitely one of the most memorable experiences of our trip.

The calmness of the environment

For someone who enjoys the beauty in simplicity, I didn’t find a thing I didn’t enjoy.

A very beautiful and relaxing property, with a lovely traditional Japanese atmosphere. The rooms were clean, cozy and well equipped, and the private baths were definitely the highlight of our stay. Check-in was smooth and the location was convenient for exploring Kyoto. Overall, a memorable and comfortable stay.
