First I want to say that it is a gorgeous home with a breathtaking view. When we arrived we immediately turned on the fireplace. Unfortunately there was an EXTREMELY strong gas smell that did not dissipate after letting it run. I contacted the owner and let him know we were very concerned and that I acquired a very bad headache and nausea in a matter of minutes. Also asked him if there was a carbon monoxide detector on the premise. He said there was not but he would be glad to pick one up. Later that night he came back with a new detector and also offered us a full refund if we wanted to leave. I told him I would highly recommend getting that fireplace checked out by a professional. My friends didn’t think it would be worth while to pack everything up and start a new search for another place so we decided to stay where we were even though the fireplace was a big draw. Also the living room area on the listing did not match what was actually there. Furniture looked a lot more in a used “out dated” condition, magazines on table were thrown together in a disorganized way with 80% of them being outdated. Also in the listing under Popular Amenities was a Kitchen. Again very outdated and basically had a tiny sink, microwave, and small frig. We planned on cooking one meal but could not due to no stove. There were a few water glasses and coffee cups but no wine glasses. All in all we expected the place to be a lot cleaner and more updated in furnishings.

Beautiful views and comfortable stay. Only wish there toilet paper wasn’t one ply! Otherwise, it was great.

Beautiful home with Mountain View’s, set on great lot. Downstairs lodging more than adequate. Hope to stay there again

We had a great visit in Hendersonville. The property was beautiful, beds were comfy, and we had all we needed. We enjoyed board games, reading by the fire, and shooting basketball indoors, and the golf tee and wildlife sightings outdoors. We saw several deer and turkeys, as well as a white squirrel! Our favorite part was the close proximity to Jump Off Rock and the trail that led right to it from the back of the house. We enjoyed tromping through the woods with our kids just before sunset. The view from the porch of the house is unbeatable. We have never stayed anywhere with such long-range views.

We all loved it very much. We only got to stay one night and we’ll be back for more time. Thank you

The host was great! The property was beautiful and peaceful. It’s so close to Hendersonville yet miles away from the hustle. There is a short mountain drive to get here, it was so beautiful along the road though. The house was great. Just wish they had two bathrooms. That’s the only thing I would change. Everything else was great!!!
