Jackson is nestled in a valley affectionately called Jackson Hole, which is 48 miles long and about eight miles wide. This natural mountain boundary makes Jackson a retreat sought out and enjoyed by visitors year round.
- Downtown's Town Square: Town Square's four corner entrances are impressive antler arches made of elk horns collected from the nearby National Elk Refuge. They are surrounded by shops, hotels, and restaurants.
- Grand Tetons: Home of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Grand Teton National Park, the Tetons are distinguished by their jagged peaks that rise from the surrounding plains.
- South of Town: Boasting the warmest weather in the valley, southern Jackson Hole offers its own version of the suburbs, with parks, bike trails and quaint neighborhoods.
