- Cody Nite Rodeo: Every night from June through August, Cody Nite Rodeo offers Western-style entertainment in the form of bull riding, saddle bronc riding and barrel racing. Show up early and shop for a souvenir or get your face painted.
- Buffalo Bill State Park: This beautiful state park roughly 10 miles west of Cody offers two campgrounds, picnic shelters, a playground and a reservoir for swimming, fishing, and boating. Keep your eyes out and your camera handy for deer, elk, antelope and bears.
