About this house rental
Nestled in Brevard, this attractive house for $175 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Lovely older home 4 blocks from town recently renovated. Three bedrooms, master with private bath and sliding glass doors to a large deck and hot tub for 8 people.Bedroom #2 has a 3/4 full size bed and a twin, bedroom #3 has a pair of twin beds.All bedding is new Jameson Marriott five star mattresses. The two guest bedrooms share a beautiful tile bath. The den has a full size fold out sofa bed for overflow, or kids that want to stay up late and watch a movie on Netflix or from our video library. The house is close to the Music Center and only 4 short blocks from the center of town so you can walk to great restaurants, shops and breweries. The backyard is fenced, well behaved pets are okay.

House exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and worked (wifi, appliances, etc.) and kitchen was well-stocked. Instructions were clear and everything was nicely labeled. Easy walk into town for shops, restaurants; short drive to our fishing destination on the Davidson river. Would definitely come back.

The home was very clean and kitchen well stocked with everything you will need. A 10 minute easy walk will have you in downtown Brevard. Even though the house will sleep 6 comfortably, that many might find themselves a bit crowded inside the rest of the home, from the kitchen to the living room area. We would definitely rent this home again, thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the ‘Game house’. There was a nice welcome of 6 cans of local beer and a bottle of wine when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of towels for the bathroom and hot tub (sadly we didn’t have time to try it out). The ‘games’ room was filled with all kinds of games such as table hockey, puzzles, cards, in fact everything you would find in a toy store. A child’s heaven and enough to keep the adults occupied if needed. John who owns O.P. Taylor’s the store in town was the perfect host as we were lucky enough to meet him. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Brevard.

We had a perfect stay. The home was very clean and organized. Comfortable beds and sitting areas. Backyard was perfect for our dog. Home provided alot of things we didnt have to bring ex toilet paper, paper towels, dishes, coffee maker and more. If we visit the area again we would definitely stay here.

The house was so plentiful of whatever needs you had. You could literally drive up and go in the house and have everything you need except for your clothes.
Walking distance to town is a huge plus.

My family stayed here for a few nights while we visited Brevard. The kids loved the hot tub and ping pong table. I enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and laundry room. Also, my husband and I enjoyed our morning strolls into town to get a pastry at the bakery downtown. John was kind enough to get the house ready a day early for us when our plans changed, and he communicates very quickly.

We chose Brevard as our vacation destination as a dog-friendly city with The White Squirrel Festival happening over Memorial Day Weekend. Not only was that all we expected and more, John & Suzie's house was perfect for our group, and they are wonderful people as well. Meeting them at OP Taylor's Toy Store was an added bonus to our vacation! A+++

The home is awesome with everything you would want for a wonderful vacation. The beds are so comfortable, the hot tub is perfect to relax in after hiking, biking, or walking to and from town, and the game room is full of fun. It really is a great house in a great location.

This is our second time at the Taylor's property, and we look forward to more stays. The house has everything. Its location is perfect, within a short walk to downtown. John was incredibly responsive when we needed a little help. And Brevard, with its quirky shops, nearby forest, bike trails, entertainment spots, and neighboring "big city" Asheville, is a gem.

The property was exactly as described and shown in all photos. The location was so convenient and located on a peaceful street. I was really impressed on how well stocked the home was with anything and everything needed for our trip and more! The condition was great especially for an older property and very well maintained. The master bed was very comfortable and there were even towels for the hot tub! John was super responsive and easy to work with. He extended great hospitality to us and we are so appreciative of his thoughtfulness. Highly recommend this property!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. It literally has everything you need. It’s close to town, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Pisgah National Forest, and DuPont State Forest. The yard is completely fenced in which I appreciated for my dogs. I would stay here again.
