Located just 7 miles from downtown Auburn and Auburn University in the sleepy historic town of Loachapoka, this house is ideal for families coming to tour the University, sporting events, graduation, or for a simple country getaway. The MilkBarn Guesthouse was originally built in 1940 as a cow milking barn. Fully renovated in 2017 as a guesthouse, it has a full kitchen with all new appliances, heart pine countertops, gorgeous bathroom with a clawfoot tub, sleeping loft, and cozy living space. Updated on the inside with an old Alabama feel. Fully fenced-in yard with locking gate. Plenty of parking. We love dogs... ask about our pet policy! Sleeps 6, open floor plan, private, peaceful. Owner lives on adjacent property with a shared drive. Very peaceful, yet convenient to charming Auburn and less than 5 minutes from University Staion RV Park.

The Milk Barn Guest House was perfect for our family! We are so thankful to have found a pet friendly “home away from home” for the weekend. Our dog felt right at home and we felt the large fully fenced yard was completely safe for her to run and play freely. The interior of the Milk Barn is perfectly decorated with countless unique touches that create a welcoming, charming, and eclectic setting ideal for a family slumber party. The host had an amazing vision in renovating this old Milk Barn and succeeded down to the very smallest details. It is very convenient to Auburn University. We absolutely loved the Milk Barn and hope to return.

We decided to spend a week down south to escape the Minnesota winter and visit with our son down at Auburn. The property looked unique and got great reviews so we decided to check out the Milkbarn. We’re so glad that we got the chance to stay here! This property is great in so many ways. It’s a great space to hangout. It’s very clean. And it’s a convenient short drive to Auburn. Every detail has been thought of in this rental. The property owner is also very responsive and easy to communicate with. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Had a great time and the accommodations were great…especially the price and location. It is about 4 miles from University Station RV park where I was able to catch up with old college friends and tailgate. I definitely recommend it!

Milk Barn had everything we needed for our weekend stay! Loved the home decor, plenty of space. My husband was not a fan of not having walk in shower, but I loved the tub & shower attachment! It all worked out fine for 3 of us to get ready. We spend the day visiting our college son tailgating at AU evening football game.

This was the perfect spot for my husband and our 2 daughters to get a good night's sleep while moving our 3rd daughter back to school for her junior year! We loved the eclectic decor (OCMS, Neil and Lead Belly!) and all of the thoughtful extras provided by our host! We WILL be back!

If you hate chain motels this is the place for you. The owner’s heart and soul are clearly in this charming guest house. All the modern comforts are there but the setting is rustic and unique. Great beds, fully outfitted kitchen and cleaner than clean. If you have dogs, there’s a large fenced yard where they can romp. We can’t wait to return!

The milk barn was one of our favorite stays! My husband and I attending a wedding on memorial weekend with our two dogs. The property was perfect for our weekend stay. The home was very clean and the host provided more than everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect location for us to stay for vet school graduation! Our graduate lived out Webster Rd so she had time for a quick supper before the ceremony and no one was hangry for the 6pm event. Wayles made everything super-easy from arrival to check out and the place is super-cute. I really appreciated the coffee and kitchen supplies provided. We would all definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at this unique and eclectic milk barn! You won't find any place like it and we feel fortunate that we found a perfect place to stay while visiting our Auburn girl! Great communication and care by the owner....arrived after dark to lights on and a warm welcome! Bodhi (our golden) loved the fenced in yard and little taste of country from his otherwise suburban life! Quiet, clean, stocked...could go on and on! Thank you for hosting us! Looking forward to next time!

This is a place we have stayed before, and will definitely stay at again in the future. Our dog loves the huge fenced in yard and being able to just have a space to relax in after a long day feels awesome. Would highly recommend this spot.

Wayles has a great little place and he's thought of the small things that are missing at other places. We took our pup, and it was great for him to be able to explore the fenced yard after a long ride in the car. Will definitely book when we go back to Auburn.

If you like fun, artsy and cool this is the place for you. The owners have done a great job of converting an old milk barn into a really unique place to stay. It was spotlessly clean, very reasonable and not too far from Auburn. We would definitely recommend!

Amazing stay!!! We loved the Milk Barn and the location. Place was so clean and such a great unique house. The barn was super clean and had everything we needed. The fenced in yard was wonderful for our dogs and it was a huge yard at that. Location location location. You are literally 10 minutes to everything. We loved going into auburn for dinner and fun. Awesome stay!!

This is one of the neatest places we have stayed. Very clean. The beds were comfortable. There is a lawn for croquet, there is even a set provided. We had a grand time. Perfect for our women’s slumber party. Very well done repurposing of a milk barn.

My husband & I stayed here for a weekend while visiting our college kids! It was the perfect peaceful location. We even did a little star gazing one night! I loved the simple decor details & special amenities. This rental checked all the boxes for me in uniqueness & comfort! Only wish it had been available when my kids were younger. They would have loved the loft area!

Truly enjoyed our evening at the Milk Barn. Only wish we could have stayed longer. One of our party left her sunglasses behind and Terry graciously returned them. Have never had a hotel return anything I've forgotten. Recommend 100%
