"The Farmhouse" in Tech Terrace has the location and farmhouse charm you are looking for when coming to Lubbock for a game, or to enjoy visiting your student. Less than a mile from Texas Tech, and close to restaurants, the Medical District, and shopping. Easy access to Marsha Sharp, and I27, and only 10 minutes to the airport. "The Farmhouse" is an updated 1947 cottage that is in a great neighborhood with two parks and within easy walking distance to J&B Coffee, Capital Pizza, and grocery. The Farmhouse in Tech Terrace is a 3 bedroom 2 bath 1400 sq ft home less than a mile from TTU. The main bathroom was updated in January of 2021. It is fully furnished and has orignal hardwood flooring in the living and bedroom areas. Sleep well on memory foam mattresses, and enjoy Direct TV's Entertainment package and 300 Mbps WiFi. Relax on the deck in the fenced backyard under a canopy of cafe' lights! We hope you'll feel down-home at "The Farmhouse"! FYI: There is a small house at the back of the property that is unoccupied.

We enjoyed staying here while we moved our son into the dorms at Texas Tech. Everything was very clean and the home is beautifully decorated and very cozy.

A great chance to be close to campus, catch a Tech Volleyball game, visit friends, catch up on rest, play some games with our kids and just be a family.
The hosts were so welcoming and its clear they enjoy having people in their house.
The neighborhood is excellent if you are there to enjoy the tech scene- and we were!

We were in Lubbock to visit our granddaughter and attend a football game. The house was perfectly located to all we had planned to do. Plenty of room for various age groups to enjoy. The smaller kids played frisbee in the back yard and we enjoyed them having a safe space to burn off energy. Karen was a delight to work with and responded quickly to our questions. We hope to stay here again!

Wonderful! Everything was clean and decorated very nicely! Kitchen well equipped and great backyard deck with fire pit and area for outdoor games!

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse. Karen was wonderful to work with and very communicative and helpful. The property was clean, comfortable and updated, and a great walkable location to campus and a great coffee shop. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this charmer in Tech Terrace. You can tell the owners truly love their role as hosts to guests. There was nothing that we lacked for in this accommodation. Would definitely stay here again. Karen was really easy to communicate with and on her game as owner. With the heat like it was in Lubbock we were really grateful for the shady backyard and the air conditioning inside. Our dogs were so happy to have room to roam too. Good fence and attractive area around a fire pit. Thanks again for all your efforts to create such a nice place.

This is the first time we've done a short rental like this. Much better than staying in a hotel. Property is pretty much as advertised. We have enjoyed our stay at The Farmhouse, and we will definitely look here first if we come back to Lubbock. Overall, a great experience for the family.

The Farmhouse was perfect for us! Very clean with comfortable furniture, which is so important. We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard and appreciated the blankets provided by the back door. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything you could need except food of course. Karen was very easy to communicate with, made sure we had all the information we needed to check in and was very accommodating. She went out if her way to accommodate us in locating an item that was left behind. We plan to stay here every time we are in town visiting our college student over the next several years!

We were in town to welcome our first grandchild. It was a longer stay and we had family in and out during our time there. The house is adorable, very pet friendly, and had the perfect amount of space for our needs. I used the kitchen a lot during our stay and it was stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Tech Terrace is a great neighborhood close to TTU and all the best mom and pop restaurants. J&B coffee is fantastic! Karen was amazing and fast at communicating and she’s super sweet. One more thing…the back yard is a chef’s kiss! We loved the fire pit and there were no high spots in the fence for my little dogs to sneak out. Don’t hesitate—book it! We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here! The house is so charming and well appointed. We weren’t able to use the great deck and fire pit due to weather, but next time we will! The house was very clean and so close and convenient to Tech. Amazing communication with the owners and we loved that it is dog friendly. Highly recommend this house!!

A wonderful "Farmhouse Cottage" in a great area close to Texas Tech and central to anywhere you need to be in Lubbock. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms was very convenient, along with the cozy lounge, and a great kitchen with all the essentials needed to prepare anything you need. The huge back garden was perfect for our Golden Doodle to run around and enjoy.

Could not have been happier with The Farmhouse! Karen and John are fantastic hosts and we could not have been more pleased with our stay! Our pups especially loved the great backyard!! We are bookmarking their place for future stays in Lubbock!

This property was perfect for our family. So cozy and nicely equipped. Our hosts were very attentive and thorough both before and during our stay. Wish I would have found this place when our daughter was a freshman at Texas Tech so that we could have booked it every time we came to Lubbock!!

John and Karen were amazing hosts. From having the temp in the house set for us to making sure lights were on for our after dark arrival, the week started with a warm welcome. They checked in with us and had plenty of contact information available for if we needed anything (which we didn’t). We made good use of the firepit and cornhole before the rain set in. The home was cozy and warm when the outside conditions turned cold. I’d recommend this property to anyone that is passing through.

The Farmhouse is great! Very close to campus and everything you need. Really well redone. Very clean and modern. The bedrooms are big and there is plenty of space. The kitchen is fantastic although we were busy and didn't get to use it. Big backyard for the pats. The owner communication was great. Will definitely stay again!

We stayed here during RRO for our son. Location is perfect. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There is a grocery store, coffee shop and restaurant within walking distance. We were so comfortable and I enjoyed the quick response and communication with our host. I will stay here in the future- we loved it!

The vrbo we stayed at in Lubbock last year was dirty and run down. I heard about it a lot from my kids 😂. they said several times that this house was clean and so much better.

Beds, bath, linens, and living area were great for the four of us. The kitchen had coffee and tea though you’d need to buy even the basics if cooking there, which we were not. The bathroom accessed from the room with twin beds had a low ledge that was good for my partially disabled mom. Check in and check out were a breeze, and the location was terrific.

Loved the farmhouse!
We were so happy that we found the farmhouse to stay at when we were in Lubbock. The house was decorated so cute. My three year old called it the blue house and was sad to leave it. Karen had such wonderful communication and always so sweet! The beds were cozy and the house had tons of family games to play with. Thank you again for letting us use your home.
