The pool surrounded by coconut trees and flowers was fantastic, and the highlight of the homestay for me. I also enjoyed sitting outside on the bamboo recliner chairs, which was very comfortable. The room was spacious, and the air con worked really well, so the mosquitto net was not needed.
The food menu is very limited, with some very expensive items, but the garlic rice and tofu were reasonably priced for this kind of homestay and very tasty. There are places to eat in the closest town, but you have to be confident on the roads to get there. The homestay has free bicycles you can use.
There is a very laid-back atmosphere here which is very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and even made us noodle soup for breakfast when we asked. They take good care of the grounds and pool.
There is no natural light in the room, and the light flickers.
It would be helpful if there was a printed information leaflet in the room with key information on.
