Riverside Park Eco Resort

Lodge de quelques chambres au sein d’un jardin tropical entouré d’eau. Au calme Les bungalows sont corrects et aménagés de manière sommaire. Clim fonctionnelle L’accueil a été chaleureux et l’accompagnement des propriétaires du lodge super. La piscine était en entretien quand on est arrivé donc on n’a pas pu en profiter mais cela a été compensé par une balade en kayak sur le Mékong et une sortie en scooter pour visiter les points remarquables de l’île et de Vinh long On a super bien mangé dommage qu’une coupure de courant générale du l’île ne nous ait pas permis un 2e dîner On recommande sur vous passez dans le secteur

Het was een hele mooie plek met de allerliefste mensen. Het personeel was een familie die alles voor ons wilde doen. Ze waren beleefd, lief en enthousiast. Het is een rustige plek dus als je even wil ontspannen na de drukte van Ho Chi Minh zou ik het zeker aanraden. Het tempo is laag, het weer was goed. Ze hebben gratis fietsen en kajakken die je mag gebruiken.

Het is qua comfort goed maar verwacht niet mega luxe.

Site sur une île. Dépaysement total au milieu de la faune et la flore locales. Planification aisée des transports depuis la ville d'Ho Chi Minh. Accueil très chaleureux et bienveillant de nos hôtes qui nous ont nourris le soir et trouvé un scooter pour nous déplacer en autonomie sur les deux jours. Piscine très propre sur site.

The park is on an island in the Mekong Delta, it has a lovely garden surrounding the park. We were the only guests at the time for a 3 night stay. We arrived by bus to Vinh Long, ferry to island, then motorbike to the accommodation - this was very unexpected and took some arranging - the park is quite isolated, which is great if you want peace and quiet with a relaxed atmosphere. There are bike and kayaks to use. The staff were great and even arranged for an English speaking person to see us every evening to tell us about the area and see how we were and if we needed anything. One surprise on arrival was that the electricity was off - a government thing for the island - this meant no air con, water pumps for shower/toilet etc. The electricity came back on later that evening - which was a relief as it was very hot. The staff assisted us in organizing the transport to get back to Ho Chi Minh City - as we did not know how this was going to work given how isolated it is and how we arrived - thankfully worked out well This is a lovely resort, but i believe it must have had its hey day a few years ago - well prior to covid - the rooms are clean and bathroom good, balconies look out onto other rooms/balconies - just note the review dates and photos would have been taken some time ago The staff were very friendly and as we were vegetarian they accommodated us very well. There are no other places to eat an evening meal We did catch the local ferry to Cai Be - which was great - but there is a lot of walking involved both to get to the ferry and on the other side to Cai Be. All in all it was an experience and when you travel that is what its all about
