About this house rental
Have a fantastic vacation at this beautiful new 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath beach house within 200 yards of Cocoa Beach! It's ideal for extended family get-togethers, vacations, or corporate retreats. The Pelican Beach House was designed with your comfort in mind. The open floor plan includes a downstairs great room with a 60 inch smart TV and high-end furnishings. An expansive fully furnished kitchen contains indoor seating for 12, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, dishes, and pans. Sliding doors open to a view of your own heated relaxing private saltwater pool with a Baja shelf for sunning. Patio furniture and a barbeque grill surround the pool area. A bath with tiled shower and lovely lounge area are located on this floor for your convenience. A twin rollaway bed is available upon request. Upstairs, a large master bedroom contains a king size bed, 49 inch SmartTV, and a double futon. The master en suite bath with corner soaker tub and separate shower also contains a convenient full size washer and dryer and walk-in closet. A balcony overlooking the pool can be accessed from this bedroom or from a hallway door. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both offer queen beds and 39 inch SmartTVs. Bedroom 4 has two twin beds, 39 inch SmartTV, and a closet. The garage houses a large washer and dryer. Two bicycles, a beach wagon, surfboards, belly boards, beach umbrellas, and toys for the beach and pool are here for your use. The garage and driveway provide parking for 4 vehicles, and public parking is available around the corner. The property was chosen by the owners for its easy access to the beach. There are no streets to cross, only a sidewalk to follow to the dune crossover. It's as close to oceanfront as you can be without being oceanfront. The Cocoa Beach Pier is a short walk of less than 1/2 mile down the beach. Stores and restaurants are also nearby, several within walking distance. The Space Coast Stadium Complex is 25 minutes away, making our beach house a relaxing place to stay after the ballgames. This 2400+ sq. ft. beach house is one of two adjoining townhouses on a corner lot. Each townhouse has the following amenities: *Private heated pool (not shared) *SmartTVs in every bedroom *Streaming Service through Spectrum App with 10 channels plus local *Some TVs have HDMI cords for gaming attached *Internet service *2 washers and dryers *Towels and linens provided *4 parking spaces *200 yards from the beach *New construction *Beautiful tropical landscaping Check in is 4:00 PM EST and check out is 10:00 AM EST. Security deposit is $500, cleaning fee is $245, and state and county taxes are 12 %. Renters will receive entry code and directions to the property. A single rollaway bed is available upon request for an additional guest. The price quoted is for up to 8 guests. Additional guests are $25 per person per night. Minimum age to rent this property is 30. This house does not qualify as a wedding or reception venue. We are fully licensed with Brevard County and the state of Florida to operate as a vacation rental. Use a credit card to book through VRBO.

Great place, I would expand the back yard patio out another 4 feet to the trees to give you a little more space. And it would seem so much more spacious. Great location though.

spent 2 days at this beautiful home prior to leaving on a cruise from Port Canaveral. We couldn't have asked for more ... spacious and clean, pool and very close proximity to the beach (beach towels, Bikes and toys included). Walking distance to restaurants as well. Superb! We will stay here again.

The property was very clean and spacious. Very short walk to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs and toys for the kids. We truly enjoyed our stay and Cathy was great!

We stayed as a family of six for eight nights. The house was extremely clean and easily could fit up to eight people if necessary. The heated pool was a great option and the walk to the beach is really just a block away. You never even need to cross a street! There are plenty of delicious seafood restaurants nearby as well as mini golf and go karts! We would highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Wonderful host. Great property and location for family. The short walk to the beach was wonderful! The private pool to cool off in was a hit with both adults and kids. Everything we needed was there, from pool floats and beach wagon to sand buckets. The house was also well equipped with everything we needed for the little ones (high chair and portacrib). Room for everyone. We had a fantastic time, and hope to come back again!

This is the second time we stayed at this property. Very nice and spacious. Everything needed was there, from beach towels, beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs and wagon which makes it very helpful! Kids love the pool and beach. Short drive to Disney World. The owner is very personable and nice to talk to!

Cathy was very communicative, answering all of our questions in a timely manner. The house was perfect for our family. The grandkids really enjoyed the pool and having the beach a block away was amazing.

Cathy was a wonderful host and was very accommodating. We were to arrive prior to hurricane Ian, and she called us well in advance to discuss our options. We decided to still go, and we’re glad we did. The home was very spacious, clean, and inviting. The pool was a very nice touch. They have all kinds of beach gear, bikes, cooler, surfboards, boogie boards, skim boards, chairs, etc that was really helpful. They even had some beach cruisers. Great location right next to the beach. Definitely will stay here again.

Great location for a family gathering. Only a short walk to the beach access point. Close proximity to Cocoa Beach Pier. Pool was very nice and clean. Beach gear was available in the garage for spending the day at the beach without needing to buy. Very helpful.

My husband, sons, daughters in law and two grandsons stayed at this property for a family getaway to the beach. It was a great house for the eight of us! We loved having separate bedrooms and bathrooms for each family (just our preference) and the living, dining, kitchen, rooms were all great sizes for a group.
The house is really close to the beach and the owner makes it so much better by providing a wagon and beach amenities (chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, toys, etc.) This was great since we flew to FL and couldn't bring any of these kind of items with us.
The pool was a perfect size - and the owner had life vests for the 3-year olds to wear and they loved being able to swim on their own.
The owner even was a great help in sending us a jewelry item we left at the property - we checked out on Sunday and had the jewelry item on Wednesday! We so appreciate her efforts to get the item to UPS for us.
We were able to cook/grill dinners while we were there - making meals easier than trying to go out to eat with all eight of us all the time.
Loved it - hope to do another family vaca in the future.

We came on a family vacation with adult kids and grandkids. There was plenty of room for everyone with all the beds. It was clean and and inviting. The pool was clean but hot when we went. No fault of anyone but the sun! There were pool toys and beach chairs and umbrellas with a wagon to transport everything. The owner was very attentive when we needed the shower adjusted or needed dishwasher pods. Overall a wonderful place to stay. If I had to give one suggestion it would be to clean out all the pool and sand items in the garage and keep what’s not broken. There was a pump for the bike and balls but no needle for the pump.

We really enjoyed our stay here and had everything we needed. The biggest plus for our family was the pool and short distance to the beach which we visited everyday. We were also lucky enough to see a shuttle launch right on the beach. We had an amazing time and would return again.

Wonderful Property Close to the Beach
We had an amazing time! Cathy was amazing to rent from and there when we needed her. The house was clean and everything we wanted. The short walk to the beach was a plus. While we were there we were able to see two rockets launch. We cannot wait to go back!!

Our large family had a WONDERFUL stay at this property! The home was very nice, clean, just as described.
For reference, my husband and I brought our 7 children, ranging in age from 2 to 15, to stay for a week in mid May.
(Some of the) Pros:
1. Proximity to the BEACH! The walk down the block (no streets to cross!) and across the short boardwalk, and then a few more steps to the water... was extremely doable, even with our crew of many little people.
2. Private POOL! The Baja shelf is the key for us, with several kiddos that can't swim. It's PERFECT for them to have a place where they can play! And the water was always nice and warm!
3. Smart TV's with Disney+, for when we needed some down time. We were also able to hook up our own Fire Stick, to access our own TV apps.
4. Washers and dryers! Having the set upstairs in the master bathroom was vital for our family. With all the bedrooms and therefore clothing upstairs, to have laundry capabilities close by was super convenient. We used the set in the garage for towels.
5. Supplies. The kitchen was stocked with nearly everything we needed to cook simple meals. (We couldn't find a pizza cutter, however!) Beach supplies! So many toys, chairs, etc. The beach wagon was so nice to have!
(Very few) Cons:
1. The supply of beach and bath towels and linens was very limited. There was 1 beach towel for each of us, which we did make work, but a couple towels per person would have been much nicer. That way if we went to the beach and got them sandy, we would have had clean towels to use by the pool while we washed a load.
We were able to piece together enough bedding for the futon in the master bedroom, barely. There were no extra sheets or blankets to be found. Would have been nice to have a few things for an emergency or just to snuggle under while watching TV.
2. Living room couch is NOT comfortable for lounging while watching TV. Could probably just use a few new seat cushions.
3. Hall bathroom upstairs had nowhere to hang any kind of towels. All the towel bars and hooks were missing. Slight inconvenience.
4. Lots of stairs! The lower level ceilings are very high, so while it is only one flight of stairs, it's a doozy! With all the bedrooms being upstairs, we definitely got our workouts in!
I would like to point out that we did not ever contact the manager on duty. Perhaps we could have gotten more towels and linens, but we were too busy enjoying our vacation to bother!
