My wife and I loved the cabin it was very relaxing and would definitely stay again

We enjoyed our stay.

The cabin is well appointed with everything you need for a weekend away. We loved the covered back patio and hot tub in the evenings. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

This cabin is so adorable and SO clean! It's probably one of the cleanest rentals I've ever been in! The King bed was super comfortable (wish I checked what kind it was). Haha! The back deck was so nice to sit and relax in the morning. We loved it! Jennifer was easy to communicate with and quickly responded. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for a quiet weekend, with comfy sitting areas inside and out.

The cabin was wonderful and the bed super comfy. We had family visit on mothers day afternoon and the outdoor patio, the fire pit, grill, and hot tub were perfect.

Clean, comfortable/çozy & convrniently located, this cabin in the country did not disappoint! Communications and checkin process were clear and prompt. We spent time in both Nashville and Bloomington so the location was superb. We enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub during our 3 night stay and look forward to future visit.

Place was very nice and clean. Good communication from the owner. The experience made for a great trip.

This was our second time staying at this property. It has been excellent both times. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Normally I would have given our stay 5 stars because we enjoyed the cabin a lot, and had a very relaxing stay. I had a couple questions for the host, and she answered quickly. We also ended up adding a day to our stay, and she was very accommodating. Unfortunately, the day we got home, I noticed my husband had a rash. I checked myself and the kids, and we all had these random rashes. I had to Google it because I had no idea what it could be from, and found out it's called hot tub rash. It happens when there's a certain bacteria found in a hot tub or pool that hasn't been cleaned or maintained properly. I understand mistakes happen, so I sent the host a message to let her know. All she said was that it was emptied before our stay and thanks for letting her know. Honestly, I was frustrated and felt she should've at least apologized. It took about a week for the rash to clear up, but it's been a month and the spots from the rash are still on my thighs and they look very ugly. So while we did enjoy our stay, we will not stay here again. She should've been apologetic about the situation, and I just felt she didn't take any responsibility and she should've. The cabin was clean, but I gave cleanliness 1 star because the hot tub obviously was not cleaned properly.

Took and girls trip and we loved it! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was beautiful and the neighbors were far enough away we felt free. It's worth the drive. We'll be staying there again!

Girls weekend trip to Brown County. Your cabin had everything we needed and more. We had such a great time make great memories. The hot tub was an awesome way to relax after all the shopping we did. Very clean and lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Hoot Owl. It's a beautiful property, close to IU, cozy, quaint, and the host is very responsive if needed.

Listing was a pain from the get go.

Loved everything about the house and the setting. House was a little bit of a drive to some locations but nothing too arduous. Clean and organized, the house provided well to our stay.

Very clean cabin for a great long weekend. Had plenty of space for 6 with great amenities. The kitchen, hot tub, fire pit, living room and pool table had more than we needed and made for a really fun stay.

This cabin is cute with nature surroundings. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with dishware, pots and pans. There is a pop machine on back deck which is lite up, was noisy initially, but msgd owners. They resolved problem promptly, by taking out light bulb and fixing the noise problem.

The back porch, hot tub, and fire pit were a great place to hang out. Very convenient to Bloomington and Lake Monroe.

Fantastic cabin for our girls weekend. We had plenty of space for sleeping, all amenities were appropriate and the place was super clean. Close to everything we needed to do in town. Pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Hot tub was well maintained and not overly chlorinated. Cute decor and loved all of the owls around the house. My only suggestion would be a brighter light above the kitchen table. Maybe could easily be solved with brighter bulbs? Not any reason to not rent this wonderful place! It was great!

Truthfully, the pictures on the listing don’t do this place justice. It’s super nice! My friends were all shocked. The bed upstairs was extremely comfortable. Everything was incredibly clean. Weird thing to mention, but the shower head downstairs has me hopping on Amazon to pick one up for my house. Pay attention to the listing: this is not SUPER secluded, but it’s secluded enough. My buddies and I were able to hang out in the yard and play some yard games, relax in the hot tub, and just chill on the deck.. completely undisturbed. The property manager does a great job communicating. I had a few stupid questions, and she was super patient and fast with her responses. Overall, I highly recommend it!

This cabin is exactly as indicated, outside of town but not far from neighbors. The accommodations are perfect for friends/family. The yard is quiet and accommodating. Sleeping is comfortable. It was a great location for hiking at Brown County State Park, shopping in Nashville and visiting some local wineries. I would definitely book this cabin again.

Very clean and well maintained. We had a comfortable stay and appreciated the well maintained property.

Although this property is not "secluded," it felt like it. Extremely clean and inviting. A couple suggestions: Minimize the number of pots and pans. I pulled out a pot, the pile shifted and I ended up removing dozens upon dozens of pots and pans, reorganizing and returning them all to the lower cupboard. The pop machine on the back deck is a nice benefit but the sound of it running drowned out the quiet of the country. Add some kind of soap/shampoo holder to the upstairs tub. A hairdryer in the upstairs bathroom would be a nice touch instead of using the dryer in the downstairs bathroom. Host quickly responded to each communication. :)
