My family had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful property. Being right on the beach was amazing. The views are beautiful from inside and from the deck. And it is steps to the lovely beach. The place was very clean, plenty of room for four of us, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Great place!

When we walked into our unit, and we stayed on the top floor, our jaws dropped at the cleanliness, the expansiveness, and the fact that our open balcony looked directly onto the beach! Our family of five was extremely comfortable in this unit, the beds are great which is some thing you don’t always get and we have learned to appreciate! One of the biggest assets of course is that this unit is right on the beach. While the beach is not private, we stayed during a very busy beach weekend and never had to worry about not having space for our family. Regarding the reviews about being near a bridge, it is right next to Chesapeake bay bridge but don’t let that be a deterrent, we hardly noticed it. Ed was so nice and checked in with us throughout to make sure we enjoyed our stay,. I can see why this place is continually booked!

Friendly, professional hosts, seamless rental & check in, and home-y atmosphere, but close to restaurants and all the fun of Virginia Beach. Will definitely stay there again, and would leave 500 stars if allowed!

Great location with easy access to the beach and plenty of space. At times it's like having the beach to yourself. A great getaway for the family!

Overall we were happy. I think the condo overall could use a little updating in terms of some furnishings and cable options on t.v. Were very limited. Overall it is a peaceful in an uncrowned area right on the beach. We had a nice vacation. Thank you Ed!

The property and condo are amazing and in a great location. Clean, comfortable and right on the beach. The local bars an restaurants provide a great place to have lunch/dinner and enjoy wonderful waterfront views. Ed the property owner was great. He contacted us immediately upon arriving and was a very accommodating host. He went above and beyond often recommending local places to visit for food and entertainment. We would recommend staying at the property again for sure!!!!

This condo deserves the highest rating in terms of location, spaciousness and super-cleanliness. Owner Ed is a truly amazing person - he was always available and eager to help and did his best to make our stay enjoyable. The beach is only steps away with amazing views of the ocean and sunrise from the deck ! We enjoyed many days of watching dolphins and school of fish swim by! My overall rating of this condo lost a star only because the living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable. We hope Ed chooses to upgrade the furniture so that this condo gets the 5-star rating it deserves otherwise!

It was really nice being right on the bay/Chic's beach. The water was gently enough for small kids and it was great being beachfront. The property had all the amenities needed and was clean. The property showed signs of age, but not so much that it took away from our stay. The property owner was very responsive to questions about parking and details about the home.

We enjoyed our stay there. We really enjoyed the calmer waters and not so crowded beaches.

Loved the condo and the location of it being right on beach was perfect. Ed was great. He asked if we needed anything a few times. My brother enjoyed talking to Ed when he stopped by to check on us.

Great hospitality. Even called to make sure everything was going well and if we needed anything. Great view literally steps from the beach.

We were very fortunate to have rented this condo on our first trip to Virginia Beach. It is at the perfect location - near the end of a street, so not much traffic and right on the beach. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from the deck and watching the dolphins swim by. There are a couple of really good restaurants within walking distance as well. Ed was very accomodating when we needed to add a couple of days to our stay and with any issues or questions we had. Since the weather had just turned warm, the air conditioner wasn't working properly. Ed made sure the technician came right away and took care of the problem. This condo was perfect for us and our small dog. We plan on staying here again in the future as our daughter is stationed in Norfolk.

Just needs an updating here and there. Ed the owner was very nice and brought us a new sweeper as soon as we alerted him that the other was not working well.

The house had everything we needed. Great beach. Reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is I wish the future was more comfortable. Master bedroom and living room was very uncomfortable! The 3 kids didn't complain. In fact we almost switched our daughter rooms just to get the better bed LOL, but we were nice parents and kept ours. Road noise was a little annoying from the deck but hardly noticed while on the beach. Overall we all loved it. House could use a little sprucing up, but it works. Love Love Love the beach area. We will definitely return again!!!

This was our first visit to the Virginia Beach area and really didn't know what to expect, but the location, the beach, the views and the nearby restaurants were all excellent. We had a large crew that came with us (4 adults and 3 kids). The place was clean and functional, but nothing fancy, but your at the beach so we didn't plan to be indoors anyway. Being able to walk down the stairs and be on the beach was awesome with 3 little ones. With kids one of them always needed a nap, food or a diaper change and it was convenient to have the house right on the beach so we all didn't have to pack up and leave. The beach itself was great as they just restored the sand the week before we arrived. The Buoy and HK were in walking distance and had great food, drinks and service. Also there was a great little brewery (Commonwealth Brewing Co) that was a 5 minute drive from the beach as well. It was a short 20 minute drive to most other attractions to. The owner Ed was a great guy. Very accommodating and ensured everything was ready to go when we got there. I asked Ed about a grill so we could cook out a few times and when showing me the grill he noticed it was getting a little worn and said he would go and pick up and new one. He was back in 30 minutes with a brand new grill and utensils. Over all if you don't mind not being at the Ritz Carlton this is a great place to stay and having a great owner like Ed made it even better.

The property was in a wonderful location with a great view, but needs a ton of updating.

Great value for the price. This is our third time staying at this location. It is exactly what we need. Our children and grandchildren join us for an intimate family get-together. Much less crowded and congested than Virginia Beach. This place provides a relatively private beach stay. Just walk down the stairs from the condo and the beach is yours! Ideal. We found the condo clean, neat, and tidy with the amenities needed for all of us. Comfortable beds and linens. Only suggestion: bring your own pillows.

We had an awesome vacation here. The owner, Ed, was nice and helpful. The beach is great and the kids had a blast.

Everything we were looking for was here at Chix' beach and this comfortable home. Great views of the sunrise and sunsets. Very friendly neighborhood both people and pets. Not crowded, plenty of room to spread it. Ed the owner was accommodating and welcoming!
