Located in Colorado, this attractive cottage for $94 per night is a great option for your next trip. We are located above Dolores, Colorado lucky us we have a view of mountains ranges, we live on 75 some acres you can roam on, walk out to the edge of the rim and see the whole town of Dolores. Take advantage of taking a picture of the whole Mesa Verde mountain. Bring your family, kids, friends, There is so much to do in a small amount of time. Don't worry there is always time for biking, hiking, fishing, sight seeing, star gazing, hunting and a nice outdoor fire to end the evening with. You can have this enjoyment with our secluded cozy warm clean 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage with 2 queen bed, it could easily sleep 4. It comes with all your amenities such as Wi-Fi, HDTV, DVD player, Linens, Towels, Soap, Shampoo & conditioner, Hair dryer , Iron & iron board, Toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towel. The Kitchen is fully stocked with microwave, electric stove, full size refrigerator, toaster, pots & pans, dishes, utensils, cutting board, cups, coffee maker/coffee filters, salt & pepper, sugar, creamer. round table that only seats for 2. If you want to take a bike ride don't hesitate to ask we have them storage in our garage, Our closest neighbors are with an a mile away, a lot of privacy. We no longer allow pets . This VRBO is located close to Dolores, CO and the San Juan National Forrest. My friend and I drew 1st rifle bull elk licenses. We did not have much luck finding elk. We are no longer able to traverse rough terrian because of physical limitations. We still enjoyed getting away and seeing different countty.

Quiet, clean, and good location. Only bad thing was the hot water pressure wasn’t great but we managed. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is right outside Dolores and close to Mesa Verde and Cortez. Only an hour drive from Durango and four corners. We were able to do a lot of activities and explore new areas of Colorado. The cabin’s beds were comfortable which is a must when you are tired from the day’s activities. The nights were cool and A/C was not required as long as you had a fan and cracked the windows. The kitchen was small but appropriate for making small meals. I wish there was more of an outdoor space to eat, sit, and enjoy summer evenings outside of the cabin. The cabin was private and had a view of the mountains. It was great to have WiFi and was able to work from the cabin when needed. Overall, the cabin was great as a base camp and a great price which allowed us to afford to do even more activities.

Well we know it's a work in progress Jason & Loretta are very nice & took care of whatever we needed . Even supplied us with fresh eggs !! It has GREAT Mountain Views & hiking on the Large property . Very private , lots of Pine trees for shade . Love the Town of Delores with the Delores River , Parks & Shops & Restaurants & hiking trails !! Not far from other Towns to visit & Our Family Camped with their RV right in back of the Rental house !!

Check in was easy, beds very comfortable. Great location, private and affordable. The only things we missed were screens on the windows (we prefer fresh air instead of a swamp cooler at night) and some kind of table where we could sit and play board games. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute little house. The privacy and seclusion were wonderful and there were beautiful views of the mountain ranges nearby. Our son loved watching the lizards play in front of the house every morning and the sunrises were awesome. We look forward to another stay in the future!

This clean little place was cozy and had sufficient kitchen/bath items for a couple of tired hikers. Bed was comfy and the night sky views from this place were great!! Water is supplied by a cistern, so expect water pressure to mostly likely be less than to what you are accustomed. Internet is touchy, but we really only use it for weather forecasts, some driving directions and to check the National Park websites. Access is by a long unpaved, but quite well maintained dirt road.

Great place to stay!
We really enjoyed our few days at this home. The place was easy to access, clean and nice, and close to town. Visiting Mesa Verde was our reason for staying and we had an awesome time. Take time to walk the brow as it has amazing views at sunset and you may even see some deer.The house met all our needs and stayed cool and the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated out hosts and highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful retreat
This property was just what we were looking for when booking our vacation. Close to Dolores but not in a bigger city. Jason was great! It snowed almost every day we were there and Jason brought us more pellets for the stove to make sure we stayed warm! He was also really responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area! I love that the house was quaint and homey feeling! Thank you for letting us stay!

Perfect getaway/vacation
We had an amazing time! The cabin is cozy and was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the pellet stove and Jason made sure to keep the pellets in the stove stocked for us. Those were the only couple of times we saw anyone. Other than that, it was very private. I really liked that since we come from the city where there is NEVER privacy! Lol! Both my 18 yr old son and my 3 yr old daughter had a blast, as well as my husband. The weather wasn't that great during our stay but we didn't even mind. They built an igloo and a fort in the snow. Thankfully my husband didn't do the 15 ft snowman he wanted to but there was definitely enough snow for it! Lol! All in all, it was a perfect vacation. The house was stocked well and we had all we needed for meals at the cabin. I would definitely recommend this place to all without hesitation! 👍🏾

Cozy and relaxing stay
My parent and daughter and I came up for a long weekend and had the best time. We arrived late at night and Jason and Loretta had left the lights on for us. The house was extremely clean and smelled so delightful. We had all of the items needed to eat and make eggs and bacon and toast in the mornings and eat dinner at night. We visited Mesa Verde, about 35 min away, ate in the town of Dolores, Chavlos Mexican which was amazing, and drove through the Canyon of the Ancients. Coming back to the house each night was very relaxing and the property is so quiet. Viewing the stars at night was absolutely amazing! Thank you, Jason and Loretta, for an amazing stay!!!

Hidden gem in Dolores.
If you are wanting a high end resort this is not the place for you. However, if you want a cute cabin away from the city this is for you. It felt like we were in a old miners cabin. The sheets and towels were nice quality. The host didn't bother us but if we needed anything I could contact him. We got up early and saw a mentor shower, it was only a short drive to Dolores. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars, my parents came with us, they are in their 70's. They would of liked hand rails on the steps. I would recommend this hidden gem. We were close to everything we wanted to visit, Mesa Verde National Park, Four Corners Monument, Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Train, Cortez(nightly Indian dancing and the Dineh Trading Co, Mancos.

Quiet, remote, country stay!
Nice and clean and quiet! but since it's an older house way out in the country a few bugs are simply inevitable. We didn't mind them too much. The bathroom has been recently updated. The queen mattress was great but I would suggest a new one on the King bed. It was so nice to make supper and breakfast there. We were there to visit Mesa Verde. Thanks for the get-away!

The Cottage was very comfortable, quiet, and out of the way, Nicely furnished and stocked. Dolores had everything we needed. We enjoyed the central location to the national monuments and parks we visited. Enjoyed our stay!

Great home base for exploring SW Colorado / SE Utah
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect to access all the places we wanted to go: Mesa Verde, Arches Nat'l Park, Pagosa Springs, and others. The property and the views were wonderful. We took some walks on the property, and enjoyed a fire in the fire pit at night. Though the owner's house was very close it was blocked by trees and a barn, making the house feel very secluded. The cottage is rustic and is not fancy, but was very clean and cosy. The king size bed was very comfortable. We met the owner who was friendly and welcoming, but not intrusive. Watching the sun go down on the La Plata mountains while sitting outside was such a treat. We purchased some inexpensive folding chairs at Walmart as there were no outside chairs at the time of our visit. My only suggestion would be to improve the lighting in the living room.
If you an outdoor person who doesn't require a lot of frills, you will love this place! We will definitely stay there again if we return to the area.
