Five outside sitting areas allow you to fully enjoy the beautiful, sunny, Tucson weather, cozy up around the fire pit, or sit peacefully under the mesquite trees overlooking a meadow. It's a short 1.3 mile walk or drive to parking for the Bear Canyon entrance to Sabino Park where you have access to iconic hikes such as Seven Falls, Blackett's Ridge, Phoneline trail and many others. We are 4 miles from the base of Mt. Lemmon with stunning views (Windy Point), numerous hiking trails and restaurants. You can bicycle right out the door or ride 4 miles to the Tucson bike loop path which offers 100+ miles of paved pathways. The casita is in a quiet, peaceful setting and yet close to several great restaurants (Tucson is a foodie's delight), grocery stores, and 25 minutes from downtown. Our casita is well-maintained (Dave is a retired contractor and keeps up with repairs), clean, freshly painted, with updated appliances, dinnerware, cookware and linens.
