About this apartment rental
2-bedroom condo just 0.2 mile (3 minute-walk) to the top of the Blue Ridge Express lift. Play on the mountain but enjoy peace & quiet in our condo versus slope-side where you will hear the grooming equipment at night. We are pet friendly, so the 4-legged babies don't have to stay home! Things to love about our condo: The wood-burning fireplace in the living room (firewood provided outside), fully equipped kitchen w/dual coffee brewer, sectional sofa w/blankets in the storage ottoman, WiFi, Roku TVs, stocked games/puzzles/books closet, full-sized stacked washer & dryer, & a cuddly bear climbing a lighted tree. We have a king bed w/cozy linens & a full bathroom with walk-in shower downstairs; 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed w/comfy linens upstairs in the loft bedroom with its own bathroom. (Please note that the loft bedroom is partially open and overlooks the living room.) Great for two couples to share or for kids upstairs. There's also a bonus "game cave" off the loft with a Wii and beanbag chairs for kids or the young at heart.

This was our third year in a row staying at this general complex, but this particular unit was our favorite! There was plenty of room for our family of three (including a teenaged son), and four would have fit comfortably. The owners have made great use of the space. The unit is dog-friendly, but there was no trace of dog--no hair, no smell. My husband is allergic to most dogs and had no reaction. The kitchen and bathrooms are well-appointed and clean. The have an outdoor space dedicated to skis and equipment, and most importantly, the slopes are about a 2 minute walk from the unit. We have already booked again next year.

We loved our stay at this condo, which is conveniently steps away from the Wintergreen Mountain Inn. The condo was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. The property owner was communicative and the place met all of our expectations. We'd stay here again for sure.

The condo is cozy, clean, and accommodating for our small family with a high-energy toddler and dog. We appreciated fast responses from the owner, pet-friendly style, and the quick walk to the top of the chair lift. Though there was mostly machine-made snow on the slopes during our mid-December visit, we were still able to take advantage of some sledding and snowball fights. We enjoyed the morning sunrise through the big windows and on the balcony with a warm coffee to start the day. Would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I started coming to Wintergreen a year ago and use it every few months as a little weekend getaway. Each time we have tired a different condo and this was the nicest place to date. As soon as we walked in, my wife said "I like this one the best so far." The place was extremely clean, the furniture and beds were comfortable, and the unit was well stocked with the essentials. We also liked the location better than other units as well. It is close in distance to everything, but it is also has a secluded feeling to it. This is an excellent choice and we will certainly rent it again.

This was a fantastic stay for our family of 5 and our 2 dogs. We would come back and do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you for such a great trip!

We had a great time. Goid driving directions to location, cheerful decor, room for 4 adults,great access for hiking and restaurants. Super relaxing with evening fire.

We were very pleased upon arrival everything was clean as it should be. Pleasant surprise with a little Christmas tree with the bear gave it wonderful touch. I have already recommended it to friends and I hope that I will be able to return again. Very well appointed with everything that you would need.

The condo was amazingly attractive and well equipped-can’t think of anything that was missing. The bed was so comfortable and we loved having a fireplace. The location was great and the deck allowed us to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. We hope to go back in the winter!

This condo is warm and welcoming. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing in this space. It was very clean, the bed is very comfortable, and the condo had everything we needed. It is within walking distance of the village and slopes, and we enjoyed walking our dog on the trails. The owner is very responsive to emails and questions.

This condo was absolutely perfect for our mountain escape with our dog. This is one of the most comfortable places we have stayed in. The attention to detail in furnishing is superb. Everything you need is right there in the condo. Our hound is on the tall side so his kennel is XL and it fit perfectly in the loft upstairs. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had about hiking in the area or other things to do. So many trails in the area to hike and an endless amount of wineries, breweries, and cideries in the area to visit almost all of which are pet-friendly outside. We ate out for most meals so if you plan to cook we suggest bringing your groceries with you as shopping at the top of the mountain is limited but there is a small market to get the basics. We look forward to coming back to explore the area more and would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely trip to this clean, well-furnished property. We loved that we could walk to several Wintergreen amenities and a great hiking trail from the front door, and the kids loved having game night every night with fresh ideas from the game closet. This also, by far, was the best vacation kitchen we have ever used. Actual decent set of knives, and an Instant Pot! Heather was a very accommodating host and we hope to return next year.

Great property, great location. The owner took every step to make this a comfortable vacation stay. Very welcoming. Also, anytime a question arose, she immediately responded. Very awesome value for what is provided and where it is located.

We had a great time. The condo was welcoming, clean and very comfortable. People at Wintergreen were friendly, and our pet Annie settled in nicely. The trails were scenic and fun, and the local attractions were a great way to spend time.

Four of us were staying several days while we were singing in Wintergreen Music Festival. Heather was very responsive to questions and super helpful. Great location near the main Inn, well appointed and clean. Plenty of towels and supplies, and a ton of products from Bath & Body Works! Beds slept well and it was nice and quiet.
As warned by Heather, we did see a bear trying to access a couple of dumpsters while we were there!

My family and I have stayed in this lovely condo several times before. It is our "go-to" condo for stays in Wintergreen. The condo is clean, comfortable and in a great location. Everything that you might need for your stay has been provided, as well as many other thoughtful and fun items. It is apparent that the host cares and truly wants you to have the best of stays at Wintergreen. Book with confidence!

This place was cozy and clean! Bonus room for the kids, every appliance you might need, plus..every scent of candle, body wash and lotion imaginable! A water main broke the first day we got there but we went out and grabbed a bite to eat and the issue was fixed before we went to bed. The host kept us in the loop with updates along the way. We love this area and will be back again! It was a great place to stay!

Our Wintergreen vacation was very relaxing! We brought our 2 cocker spaniel’s with us and they were extremely happy and comfortable with this property! It was like staying in our home away from home! The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything you would have at home! The furniture was extremely comfortable! We would definitely stay here again!

Nice little ski area south of Shenendoah NP. The condo is right on top of the mountain. We went for some hiking. It was apparently a slow time of the year in late March. Theres a small market in the development, but not much else for miles around. Quiet scenic beauty.

The condo was perfect for us ! 4 adults fit comfortably with great accommodations and comfortable beds/ linens. The owner has many items in the kitchen for use,.. although we did breakfast only and enjoyed eating out once at The Edge and then spent the day after touring the Nelson 151 Brew Trail and enjoying our many stops along the way. The condo was clean, decorated really cute, and we would definitely stay in this location again. Thank you for sharing your property with us !

The property wasn’t as expected. The outside is dated and the pictures posted weren’t accurate. The inside is somewhat remodeled but very old and could of been cleaner. Additionally communication with the property management company although easy was challenging and different from prior vrbo experiences.

This is a great place to stay if you are going skiing/snowboarding and want a nice place to relax when off the slopes. It’s a very quick walk to the top of the slopes. We were able to visit Devils Backbone Brewery, Blue Toad Cidery, and Bold Rock Cidery, which were just at the bottom of the mountain!
Heather is very prompt and helpful with any questions you might have!

In walking distance to the slopes if you can handle a few hundred feet. Or drive to the closer parking spaces and boot up there. Small deck gets morning sun for breakfast outside in ski pants.

My family visited Wintergreen for our first ski weekend and the condo was great! It seems Heather has thought of everything. The condo was stocked with items that you don't always get at a rental (i.e., paper towels, hand & dish soap, foil, plastic wrap, laundry detergent, phone chargers, etc.). I even took advantage of the humidifier because it does get dry in the winter. Our young children really enjoy the game closet which was stocked with supplies, board games, coloring and the tv/game room off the loft which provided indoor entertainment full of wii games and movies. The condo was updated and clean. With young kids and all of our gear we still drove to the slopes but you could walk. I would definitely stay here again; perfect accomodations for a family.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful mountain condo, and will definitely check availability when we return to Wintergreen. The home is so well stocked, that I really only needed to bring my clothes and food! We brought our dog and we’re so pleasantly surprised to see all of the dog friendly amenities for him!
We loved being able to walk to the slopes too! We will cherish our handmade bear and hand written note from the hosts! Thank you for sharing your beautiful mountain home with us!
