About this house rental
Our property has a great deal to offer for a large family with spacious rooms. With beautiful scenic views of mountains on the front deck. Or for someone just wanting to get away for a while. Flathead valley is a great place to vacation for the outdoor enthusiasts. We have Glacier National Park 20 minutes away. Big Mountain Ski Resort also 20 minutes away. Flathead River and the Big Sky Waterslide is just 5 minutes away. Our home has 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. We have bunk beds for the children and family games. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have large walk-in closets. Our fourth room has a pull-out couch, and a log bunk bed for extra sleeping space. We have 2 roll away beds and a queen air mattress with built in pump. There is a washer and dryer with laundry detergent. It has a full kitchen, living room, and dining room. The kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, oven, toaster, crock pot, refrigerator, and a dishwasher. It is stocked with dishes, pots and pans. We have also included small things like condiments, spices, flour, storage containers for the food. Outside on the deck we have a large barbecue. And an outdoor propane fireplace. And a hot tub.

We had a great time! The house was accurately represented, clean, had enough space for our 2 families, and Shane was a very responsive and fantastic host. We would definitely stay here again!

Shane’s place is great. It was just the two of us and our pup, but it would be a terrific space for two couples with kids. Two sets of bunk beds, tons of games, lots of space!! It’s like staying at a friends’ place. We wish we had brought more family!
For us it was 30m to Whitefish for skiing. The Columbia Falls neighborhood around Nucleus Ave has shopping and restaurants, too.
Comfy beds. Tons of towels and well equipped kitchen. Shane was super responsive to our small questions. Overall a great stay!

The property was perfect and had many extra amenities that we did not expect; bottled water, basic food staples, etc. Very clean and comfortable. Shane was outstanding in his communication with us prior to and during our stay. We really appreciated his extra effort in repairing the hot tub prior to our arrival that had suffered some issues due to weather. Great host, great property, we will be back! Thank you Shane!

We had a great time staying at this property over the holidays in Columbia Falls. The house offered the perfect blend of spaciousness, yet it still felt incredibly cozy. Well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from extra blankets and towels to board games and puzzles. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The host, Shane, was great and very thoughtful. He had the house perfectly setup for our arrival, with lights and heat on, and even had the house decorated for Christmas.
The location was perfect. We were close to town for shopping and dining, but also had easy access to beautiful winter scenery for hikes and snowshoeing.
If you are looking for a great place to stay in the Flathead Valley, look no further.

The property has been updated some from picture on listing. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. I don’t think you could ask for a better host than Shane. He communicates regularly. Very committed to insuring your stay is wonderful and it was. Maybe one day we will make it back!

The home had everything and More than we needed!! It is conveniently located and great views. We really enjoyed the large porch, gas grill, hot tub and the kid’s play area outside. The toddlers with us loved the toys and playroom! We were a party of 9 with one dog and we had plenty of space. The never ending supply of towels, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, coffee, trash bags and dish and dishwasher soap for us to use was great!! Shane, is the Best and he was there if we needed or wanted anything! He also left a case of water and a large bag of candy as a gift to all!! We really enjoyed our stay!! Our family stayed a total of 13 nights and we can’t wait to stay again when we visit Montana!!! Thanks again Shane!!

Warm, comfortable breathtaking views, private and quiet location. Plenty of room lots of amenities. Great Hot tub. Shane was a great host kept good communications, and was very polite and was great and taking care of any of our needs during our stay.

This property was wonderful for our three generations family trip. The house is older and has corresponding quirks, but it was very clean and extremely well-stocked. Lots of towels, linens, blankets, pillows, air mattresses, paper goods, etc. There was nothing we needed that we couldn’t find. I found the pictures in the listing to be very accurate. Furniture and appliances are on the newer side. There was even a new set of bunkbeds we did not expect (in the bedroom that doubles as an office) that wasn’t in the listing when we booked. The location was great; a 20 minute drive to the west entrance of Glacier NP. Shane was the most accommodating host we have ever booked with. Checkout was super easy and helped us get back on the road quickly when it was time to leave.

This property worked so good for our family! Not the most upscale but it makes up for that with all the toys, games, huge yard, playground etc that are what a big family needs to relax. Not to mention the best price I could find! Lots of bedding and sleeping options too.

Shane very easy to reach. He made sure we had everything you could think of. We loved the covered deck. We ate all of our meals looking out at the mountains. Very close to glacier.

We had an amazing trip to Columbia Falls. Shane's house was the perfect home away from home!! It was spotless, pretty and very comfortable and homey! We especially loved sitting on the front porch and admiring the mountains and horses across the street! Shane was the perfect host, providing a large pack of water and a bag of candy, as well as bear spray! We definitely plan on returning and will stay in Shane's home again!!

We had to cancel our campsite near Glacier last minute due to rain and were so happy we found this place! It was a perfect respite from the bad weather. We even got to use the hot tub outside when it let up a bit. And we were so impressed by the number of towels available for our big group! Thanks for a great stay!

Great home base to explore Glacier and Whitefish area. Shane made it easy to feel at home by providing plenty of towels, extra bedding, a well-stocked kitchen and a sparkling clean hot-tub.

LOVED THIS PLACE!!!! To tell you the truth though the outside of the house looked nothing like the pictures and we were a little skeptical to keep driving up the driveway. But it turned out to be one of the BEST stays we’ve had. The front porch view of mountains and horses grazing in the pasture was beautiful. The hot tub was so much fun to relax in and to enjoy that scenery too. The house was clean and was well supplied with what we needed so just had to go to the grocery store for food when necessary. Our grandson loved the toys and slide and swings. Shane our property manager/owner was wonderful and went above and beyond to accommodate us!! We will DEFINITELY be back when we can!!

We had a great stay at Shane’s place. The most striking thing was how clean and well maintained everything was! The home was old but yet it was all in working confition and very well equipped. Our 3 year old enjoyed all the toys and the outdoor swing and slide set. Us adults loved the fire pit and brand new hot tub!! The owner was really helpful and visited us at 10pm as well to help start up thr fire pit!

Great house, great location, great host!
This house exceeds expectations. It is very well stocked with sheets, towels, blankets, kitchenware, baking supplies, high chair and pack and play, toys and games for all ages. The hot tub is large and very clean and faces the mountains. Shane, the host, is super helpful and strives to make his guests’ stay as nice and comfortable as possible. He even left us 2 cases of water, coffee, and a huge bag of candy, which we greatly appreciated and enjoyed! The location is ideal. Close to Columbia Falls, Hungry Horse, Glacier, and Kalispell, where the airport is located. Lots of restaurants and activities to enjoy nearby, also. We were there with our two adult children, their spouses and our 15 month old granddaughter. The house was perfect for each of us!

We were so happy with our stay at Shane’s house. The house was perfect and so very clean. The location was great to visit many places in the Flathead Valley. Shane was so accommodating and hospitable! We had such an amazing stay and we will definitely be back! I highly recommend staying here!

Don't even look anywhere else! THIS IS THE SPOT!! I have a million words to say, but I'll do my best to give you a brief overview. This home has everything-and when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. We, as a family of 8 were so comfortable in this home. There was space for all of us AND room to spare. It was SUPER clean, which is huge for me. It was quite, peaceful, the view is to die for and the toy room for the toddler was just icing on top of the cake! I cannot thank Shane enough for his hospitality and allowing us to stay in this amazing place. We will never forget it and we will also never stay anywhere else when we go back to Montana. Don't delay-book it!

We had a great time in a convenient location to skiing and hiking. Super friendly host who really cares about his guests satisfaction. Hot tub was a treat to watch the moon rise over the mountains.

We traveled as a party of 3 adults and this place had ample space for everyone. We stayed during an artic cold snap with below zero temps and the home stayed comfortable the whole time. The hot tub was used in below freezing weather and was perfect after skiing!! Kitchen was fully stocked with extras such as coffee, bottled water and other things that made cooking easy. Highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful stay at Shane's home in Columbia Falls, MT! Super clear communication, the home was clean, hot tub was AMAZING after skiing, lots of towels provided for the shower and hot tub. Kitchen was super stocked with basic needs such as casserole dishes, utensils, blender, pots & pans. Even an abundance of ziplock bags which was so nice to be able to store leftovers then take them home after our stay. The kitchen knife and cutting board selection could be improved but we easily got by with what was available. Bed situation worked out well, we had 5 couples so we ended up using air mattresses instead of the bunk beds in the two bunk rooms. 3 queen size air mattresses with built in pumps and extra sheets made our stay so comfortable. The in-unit washer and dryer was great too! Overall a great stay and the affordable price was a huge plus for our group. OOH! The home also has great water pressure and lots of hot water too! Can't say enough good things about this place, we had a great time and the host was great too! Thanks Shane!

The house was an easy drive to Whitefish mountain resort, and close to grocery store or restaurants. Hot tub was great! So many towels and blankets, comfy beds. Coffee pot or Keurig. Two mini video arcade games kept our teen boys busy. Fridge has an ice maker. The host very responsive and easy to contact. We love to ski Whitefish but don’t get to come down (from Canada) very often however the next time we plan to come down we will first be checking if this house is available!

Shane’s place was the perfect spot to retreat to after a day of skiing. Only 30 minutes from Whitefish mountain. The hot tub was really nice to rest your ski legs in. The beds were very comfortable and Shane had everything we needed and more to make our stay great! The house is not off a main road so I felt comfortable having my dogs at the place not being fenced. He was the perfect host—communicative , helpful and generous, but also respected our space. I highly recommend staying here next time you’re in the area!
