The Oldest Stone Home in New Hope, Pa. Built in 1743

About this house rental

Enjoy the beauty of Bucks County while sleeping in the oldest home in New Hope. It is a Historic landmark, located on the banks of the Delaware River. Located right in town, so you can walk anywhere in New Hope, or cross the bridge and you're in Lambertville, NJ. The house has all the charm of the 1700's, but has been updated for your enjoyment. There are fireplaces in both bedrooms, as well as the family room and living room. At this time, the fireplaces cannot be used, they are not working. The house is a perfect "get away" for a long weekend or vacation lasting weeks. The house works well for four people, but you can put a child on the sofa bed in the family room. Since the house is located right in the middle of town, there can be noise from the businesses on the block at night. If you are looking for a quite holiday, my house will not work well for you. If you want to be able to walk to restaurants, bars, the Play house as well as crossing the bridge into Lambertville, then my house will work well for you. Each of the bedrooms have comfortable bed with views to the river. The family room has the "Lazyboy" for those afternoons of just lazying around and enjoying the sounds of the river. You are a 20 minute ride to Princeton, and New York City is a little over an hour away by train. But remember, you do not have to leave the area. New Hope and Lambertville have numerous antique stores and of course the famous flea markets. There are many charming restaurants that you can walk to and the walking trails are just at the end of the block.. Keywords: Home
