About this cabin rental
Comfortable mountain retreat sleeps six in the upper elevations of Wrightwood (about 6250 ft.). About 3 miles from mountain high ski resort and snow play right on the property in the winter (sleds provided). In the summer, close to hiking with plenty of clean mountain air. Patio at the back overlooks mountain views and high desert below. Two cozy bedrooms with queen beds as well as a sofa bed that sleeps two. One full bath. All linens and towels provided. Two car parking in front of house. Full kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and all necessary kitchenware. Flat screen t.v. with directv and blu-ray player. Free wireless internet. Quiet neighborhood. Wood burning fireplace and 35,000 BTU furnace to keep you toasty warm in the winter. Short drive to downtown restaurants and grocery store.

Easy directions to the cabin. Quick, efficient communication with the owner. The little house has everything we needed. We built a nice fire. Used the kitchen gas stove for cooking. The house was quick to warm up. We took a very short drive to Mountain high resort for a fun filled snow day and back to our cozy cabin. We had no issues, but any questions I had were met with quick responses from Marty! Thanks so much!

Cozy place, and very nice location that turned out to be in a nook of the mountains that had plenty of snow roundabout. Was really charmed by the old school but personal feel of this place and the hosts made the visit easy and stress free. Could not have been better, for my family.

Marty communication was great. The place was a few minutes away from mountain high ski resort. Place was clean and heated before we arrived. Had everything for cooking food. Plenty of extra sheets, towels, and pillows. Did’’d see a hairdryer but we bought one in case. The parking spots were covered with snow and the snow crew weren’t able to make it the day of arrival to clear out. Marty had the cleaning crew help clear out one soot for us. Would surely stay again!

As usual, truly enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable cabin. Quiet and pleasant neighborhood, much closer to the slopes than it seems, barely takes 10 min to get to Mountain High. Will stay again.

The cabin was cozy, clean and comfortable! We stayed for 2 nights, enjoyed some freshly fallen snow and stayed warm by the fire. The kitchen had most everything we needed except a cookie sheet, but we made it work with some aluminum foil. I am not experienced at driving in the snow and it should be noted that this cabin is at the top of a steep incline that was not plowed which was a bit sketchy for us. In fact, we parked halfway up and hiked the last 500 ft to the property. There was also a “colorful” neighbor who let her dogs run loose in the area. It was an easy drive to the slopes and overall, definitely a great weekend getaway for my birthday 🥳!

Never-ending warmth!
Sweet two-bed with plenty of space. Absolutely awesome rainfall hot shower, plenty of hot water. Comfy warm sheets and light comforter. Great customer service. Please note that July can be hot!

Beautiful mountain home
We loved our stay! Marty's communication was helpful and the place was welcoming and very clean. My 6 year old especially loved the stuffed penguin and had fun going down the stairs to the entrance. We came after a hot week, so there wasn't much snow, but the hill at the house would have been a perfect sledding hill with more snow. It was a short drive to Mountain High and the snow play areas in the national forest. Perfect winter get-away!

Excellent stay!
Very nice and clean cabin. We truly enjoyed our stay. In fact, we booked another stay right after. Great communication with the host. Very good location. We were a bit worried that it is too far from the lifts but it really is not far at all. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Highly recommend this cabin!

Lovely Family Getaway
This is our second time staying at the cabin and it is perfect for our small family. Very clean and comfy! We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen while enjoying the view and it was a quick drive to Mountain High.

Post holiday relaxation
Arrived at night to a well lit staircase leading to the front door of the cabin. Opened the door and my girls were so excited to see a cute stuffed penguin welcoming them into their “home for the next three nights. The home was warm and inviting and we instantly felt comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed for a nice family dinner at the cabin and a good family movie provided by the hosts. Plenty of firewood outback, 4 sleds and a nice snow covered hill in the yard provided hours of enjoyment for our family. We appreciate the hospitality and hope to return soon.

It’s our second time staying here. We had to shorten our trip do to the amount of snow. (20 inches). Our minivan, even with chains, couldn’t hold up. Highly recommend 4 wheel drive and chains if it snows while you are there. But we love staying here and will be back. Thanks!

A quick spritz and change of sheets and it was just like new. All the utensils, dishes, pots and pans were clean and ready to go! It’s much more spacious then I imagined and super warm without a fire. It snowed the first two days we stayed and was beautiful with all the houses around us and the neighbors were friendly. Got to sled by the house on the hill and have fun on NY Eve with games and movies. Snowboarding at Mtn High was easy access from the house, a 10-15minute drive. Would stay here again and again! The family had such a good time and the owner answered my questions in minutes. Thank you!

Location is nice but not in the summer

We rented this place so that we could be close to relatives (15 minutes away in Phelan) & in a quiet place in the beautiful mountains. The place was older but clean and we had everything we needed there to cook, relax and go for hikes not to far fr our base at the house. We had a great time! Thank you so much to the owner,
