About this cottage rental
Private Tiny House located right at the heart of the Downtown Historic District. Walk to numerous restaurants, bars, the Tryon Palace and the waterfront. Private separate entrance from the rear yard and can be accessed anytime with a key code. Living space, kitchenette (no cooking) and bathroom on first floor with queen bed upstairs in open loft setting. The loft bed must be entered from the foot of the bed. Parking available on site. Small sofa opens up for twin bed for additional sleeping area. The space is most comfortable for 1 or 2 people. Well behaved pets okay. Beach cruiser bikes available. All surfaces are wiped clean with bleach spray and anti viral cleaning products.

LOVED the location - can walk easily to any area downtown. Easy to find and access. Loved the colors & decor. the perfect little gettaway.

Small but comfortable. Neat place for a short overnight trip. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to add some tv trays for a place to eat and some exterior path lighting for getting in and out of the yard at night.

Nice property that was clean and well maintained. Check-in was easy and there were nice touches by the owner. Location is really convenient to downtown New Bern, we walked to our restaurant and there are many restaurants within walking distance. Would highly recommend for a couple.

Stayed one night from a concert in town, and this was perfect. It was in town, and only a few miles from where we needed to be. Close to restaurants, coffee shops. The bed was extremely comfortable!

We loved our stay. Very homey and the location was perfect. Sitting on the patio after a long day of sightseeing and wedding activities was fantastic. Morning coffee on the patio was great as well. Beds were comfortable even the sofa bed. Will definitely go again.

I will definitely book this property again. It is very convenient to local restaurants, bars and shopping. It was quiet and very restful. Loved the local architecture, My only concern was the footpath to the tiny house was very uneven and especially at the gate. This could cause a tripping hazard for some. Otherwise this is a great spot to stay!

This little haven was exactly as described, but so much more charming in-person. It’s within a walkable distance to shopping, the River, and restaurants. It’s situated on a quiet street and a cozy spot in the back yard. Thanks for a very nice stay!

This Tiny home was well appointed with all the necessities to facilitate our stay in New Bern. The host was very attentive and provided a wealth or information about the home and surrounding area. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Great property near downtown New Bern! Extras such as list of restaurants/bars close by, tea, snacks, cold drinks in fridge a big plus. Sara is very responsive and checked in with us to be sure we had what we needed!

Had a great time at the tiny house in New Bern. The house was great, and located close to the center so we walked to everything! It had a great private outdoor space too. The owners respected our privacy. And we had the cutest cat visit us every day! A very enjoyable stay!!

This Tiny House was perfect! The setting was peaceful, the space was wonderful, the bed was comfortable, and the location could not have been better!

The platform bed allows entry and exit only from the foot of the bed. Problem for anyone over 60. If you have hip or knee replacements be advised of potential issues.

Overall a most lovely place but would not use again as the bed although most comfortable was difficult for me to get in and out of as it was too low and no side access.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this tiny home. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The host provided snacks and drinks! Location was great. We parked our car out front and walked all around downtown New Bern.

What a perfect getaway in a PERFECT tiny home! We completely enjoyed our stay, the location and the quick response offered by the owner! New Bern was EVERYTHING we wanted it to be! A hidden gem! We would highly recommend this home and New Bren for a fun epic getaway!

I absolutely loved my time in the tiny house. It was the perfect location! I was able to walk to all the shops and restaurants and I felt perfectly safe doing so alone. I am already thinking about another stay next year. Sarah was wonderful and had everything I needed in the house. Even things I didn’t know I needed. 😀. You will be in very good hands if you stay here.
