First impressions: Great description of property and check in/out information, easy check in and very clean house and much more beautiful than the photos. The attached carport was super convenient for loading and unloading our vehicle in the rain. The boat house was clean and the boat lift worked great and was easy to use. The launch was 5 minutes away, which was also very convenient. The owner was fantastic with communication and very quick with replying to our questions! The house was nice and cool during the heat advisory that was happening during our stay. We brought our 87lb and 60lb dogs with us and there was plenty of room for us and them. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend staying here.

The house was very nice and relaxing! The owner was very helpful and easy to get in touch with! We enjoyed the back porch so much it was so big and would even had enough seating room if our whole family was there!! We brought our dogs and really enjoyed being with our fur babies. This was one of our most relaxing vacations just fishing and enjoying each other’s company!

The views at this property are amazing. The house is old but very well keep. We spent most of out time on the covered porch with the outside fans which were provided or on the dock fishing. We caught several small bass and one nice 2+ pound one from the dock. The dock and yard could use a little TLC but overall very thing was perfect. The nearest grocery store is a Publix in Scottsboro about 20 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again.

Property pictures and amenities were as described; lots of deck furniture a plus. It is convenient to have use of the boathouse and was one of the main reasons we choose this house to rent. Eric is a wonderful host and made the check-in/out process very easy. Just a note to anyone who may have a sensitive allergy this is a pet friendly home (although we don't have either); there was evidence of previous furry friends enjoying a vacation. We would rent again. Eric, thanks for sharing your home.

Amazing property! My husband and I reserved with friends and our 2 dogs for the week. The boathouse was big enough to store our 21' bass boat and was a huge plus being able to keep it secure and out of the weather. The boat launch was less than 10 minutes away so I was able to drop my husband off at the launch and head to the house. The driveway to the house was easy to navigate with the boat trailer (we usually stress about this when renting). Fishing was fantastic!! We even caught fish off the dock. The house was comfortable for the 4 of us with plenty of space to spread out. The house was clean and ready for us at check in. Everything you need is provided. There wasn't a dish or utensil we needed not there. The dogs loved being able to be on the gated deck with us too. We had a fun and relaxing week here. We are in the process of booking our next stay this year and will continue to book this house.

This was our second time to stay at this property, and once again it did not disappoint. We love everything about this house. Mr. Eric is very easy to communicate with and the check in process was a breeze. The views are spectacular!

The property is everything that was described and more. Having the boat house was a huge benefit for us. Not having to haul the boat from ramp to ramp was huge. We loved the place and will definitely be contacting Eric again. He is by far the best owner that we have ever had to deal with. We highly recommend this property.

Looking for a place to stay with a few friends on Lake Guntersville for some fishing - found this listing and booked. Before arrival, received phone calls from the host updating us and checking to see if we had any problems finding it - communication from host was amazing! Exterior is well kept - landscaping is beautiful and the view was just amazing! Inside was clean and accommodating - A/C units in each room kept the place cool, enough beds to host a crowd. Kitchen contained everything we needed to cook, and as a bonus there was a grill outside. The boathouse made our life so much easier - dropped the boat in the water at the ramp a half mile away and brought it over - nice electric lift. 8-pound bass lurking under the boathouse (we never hooked up) - and that area of the lake we found fish galore! Communication from owner was what stood out the most - this place is perfect for a cabin-feel fishing trip. It’s rustic (not modern) but the pics reflect that - exactly what we expected. Plan on staying here for the next annual fishing trip!

We had a great time and everyone was very pleased with the property. We had exact directions from the property owner and we exchanged phone calls several times during our stay. We had no problems with the property. The house is very spacious with a large kitchen, living area and rear porch with an excellent view of the lake. Launch ramp is right across the bay. When we come back to Guntersville this is definitely the place for us.

Stayed before and went back as it is so peaceful. The little breakfast place down the street is nice also. This time I hired a guide and it was well worth it, had us on fish the whole time and caught more than enough for a 8 person fish fry.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it is just as perfect as we remember. A fisherman's dream right on the banks of one of the best fisheries in North America. The owner is very helpful with areas to fish as well. The boathouse is awesome for storing your boat and well protected. The house is an awesome place to come back and relax either inside or on the large deck and think about where to fish tomorrow. The kitchen is very well equipped for about anything you want to make. Definitely will be coming back here in the future!

The house is right on the lake and has beautiful views. Very close to the boat launch. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very attentive and responsive.

When we arrived, we were impressed! The actual property and home are better than the pictures. We had a great time fishing from the dock amd caught a lot of fish as well! The property owners Eric and his wife were great to talk to. They are sincerely kind and great people! They were very helpful and the home is well equipped! We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property, I loved sitting on the porch looking at the lake! We got to see snow and our dogs were very comfortable in the house, they just didn’t care for the steps up to the bedroom. Eric did everything possible to make sure that we were happy and comfortable, even after we checked out. Highly recommend this rental.

We were in town for work. The weather was super cold but the wood burning stove heated the house up nicely (lots of wood provided). Eric was great communicating and the cabin had everything we needed. Note - Wifi is DSL with a 4 MB download speed. I only had 2 bars with verizon but was able to hotspot my phone to my laptop and firetv and get a 90 MB download speed. It's the only way I was able to work. Guntersville State park was only a 15 min drive and had some beautiful hiking trails. Publix in Scotsborro was only 20 min. Good location. Thanks Eric.

Wonderful property with a gorgeous view.

The short review: This property was perfect. A big bed and three twin beds upstairs, and three twin beds downstairs, plus two couches- tons of space for people to sleep. It was clean and included everything we needed, from cooking utensils to towels. The longer review: Our family has been through a lot in the last few years, and this was our first time having any family gatherings in a long time. This was the perfect place to reconnect. We had so much space outside to sit and talk and watch the water. The kids loved rolling down the big hill and climbing the steps up and down to the little dock. There were space heaters for the elders in our group to sit next to, and the hard floors meant that we were less stressed about a potential sippy cup spill from our littles. The furniture allowed for lots of areas to break away and have conversations. There was a wide enough walkway that our grandmother had no trouble getting her wheelchair through the door and to the downstairs restroom. The whole place was clean with a touch of class, and it felt very welcoming. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. Our friends were thrilled to take pictures on the patio with those lovely views. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend! We made so many good memories here and will most certainly try to book here again.

We were looking for a quiet place to relax and we found it. This property is great it was on a big lot so the neighbors was not right on top of you. Great view of the lake from the covered deck where my wife stayed most of time. I did get to fish from the dock but had not luck. If you are looking for a quiet getaway check out this property.

Beautiful view of the lake. Large covered porch was a favorite. House was spotless, well stocked, comfortable bed. Quiet area with privacy. Abundance of wood for firepit. Wifi good. Communication with owner( Eric) excellent. Will definitely returning.

The host, Eric was very helpful & responsive! The property was just as described and a perfect place to getaway & relax! The view of the lake inside & out, and the scenic drive to & from the property is BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed this place so much. Eric was awesome too. Gave us a call to make sure everything was okay when we arrived even though he was out of country. Would definitely recommend, and we'll go back at some point for sure.
