This cabin felt homey and it was perfect for our group of six friends headed to Crystal Mountain for the weekend. It had all of the amenities that I could have asked for (including a hot tub and fireplace). We enjoyed playing Bananagrams and watching movies from the DVD selection (Blade and Mrs. Doubtfire). Couches were comfortable, water in the showers was hot, and the owner even threw in a Crystal Mountain parking pass. Thank you for the hospitality, Tom!

Clean property with nice decor, high quality bedding and towels. Great proximity to Crystal Mountain for skiing. Enjoyed the hot tub, cooking, and playing games by the fire at night. Will definitely return.

Our family of five (2 teens, 1 child) loved our stay at Tom’s cabin. They have everything you might need - including a generator in case of a power outage! Our stay could have easily been cut short considering the 2 day power outage. But we stayed cozy and warm inside, and the hot tub felt amazing after our ski days. It’s about a 30m drive up to Crystal from the cabin. We loved seeing the elk roam the neighborhood and the kids loved playing in the snow. We will 100% rent again, can’t wait for another ski weekend or a summer hike trip. Thank you!!

I had such a great stay, hopefully will be returning soon ….thanks for everything Tom.

We totally enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future. We walked into the cabin and felt totally welcome, it’s beautiful and homey. The cabin is furnished with many items used for cooking so if you forget something it might be available. Location is perfect for various hiking locations. After a big day of hiking the hot tub was perfect. The property is set up for bonfires but there was a burning ban during our stay. Next time.
I managed to slip into a creek on a hike, filling my boots with water, the boot dryer at the cabin came in quite handy. This rental is definitely a 5 star in my book!
Thank you Tom!

The cabin was very clean and just the right size for my wife and 10 year old. We made great use of the kitchen day and night as it came with all the cookware we needed and more.

This was the second time we stayed in this cabin and it has everything! We stayed with friends and did all of our own cooking. The kitchen had everything we needed! All of the rooms were very clean and organized. The hot tub was a treat. The property was beautiful with access to a hammock, swings, and the community trail system. There are elk that roam throughout the community and were often visible nearby. We were also able to stargaze using the comfortable outdoor Adirondack chairs. Wonderful place! We hope to return again in the future.

We had a great time visiting Mt Rainier Natl Park and then returning to the cabin to enjoy our meals and family. Also enjoyed a drive to a viewpoint listed in the book in the cabin. We saw beautiful Elk in the early evenings. Great place to stay. The cabin had everything we needed and more!

We loved staying here and enjoyed our days hiking while relaxing on the patio or hammock. The house was the perfect setup for our family. It's great for kids with some toys and games, we were also very surprised by the swings in the yard which our 5 year loved. Tom is a great host, communicating early with all the necessary details. Check out was also a breeze. We will definitely come back for another stay.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The furnishings, cleanliness, and general vibes are incredible. We really appreciated the fire at night, the comfortable couches, and the even more comfortable beds. Everything was as communicated by the host and we had no issues. Also really appreciated all the detail that went into the suggested activities for the area, including local hikes! We had ours planned before we came but now have ideas for a second trip. Would recommend if you're looking for a retreat to Mt Rainier!

Excellent. Place was spotlessly clean, and accurately advertised. Well appointed and well located. Everything worked fine, and the firewood was dry. Great stay; great hosts.

We had a great time at this cabin, bringing along our young kids for an end of season ski trip. The location terrific, and the house well laid out for families and groups. The new hot tub is a great addition. We didn't use the firepit, but was also a nice addition had we desired to sit outside. The kitchen was well equipped, and great communication with the owner. We will definitely plan on returning!

Short drive to Crystal Mountain. Lovey peaceful neighborhood with gentle elk roaming around looking for snacks. The skiers in our group were so grateful for the hot tub - wonderful end to a long day of skiing. As the cook in the group, I was so appreciative of the well stocked kitchen. Cozy, wonderful home. Every detail was perfect!

My family friends and us stayed at the cabin for 4 days. The cabin is super clean, cozy, beautiful and organized. The drive to crystal mountain ski resort is super easy for 15 min. we even saw an elk family at early evening, which is an amazing experience for us as well. Tom is very friendly and provided all important information before our arrival. Check-in and check-out experience was easy and straightforward as well. We would recommend this place and will go back to it again in summer.

This property is well maintained and appointed with everything you need to enjoy the area, including the most extensive guest information book I've ever seen at a vacation rental. I highly recommend this rental for a truly comfortable stay, conveniently located for skiing at Crystal Mountain or visiting Mt. Rainier.

Tom's cabin was the perfect amount of coziness for the evening after long hikes during the day in the nearby National Forest. The town was close enough to make your way back into at night for visiting a brewery of having some truly legit Italian food at Il Sicalliano. The bed was hands down the best I have ever slept in besides my own; we enjoyed it so much we would have made an offer to purchase the cabin as is had it been for sale. Definitely worth every penny plus some, may have to come back this winter to ski and enjoy the firepit.

My husband and I stayed at 3 different places on our trip to Washington and this cabin was by far our favorite spot! It’s tucked away in a great little community, and we even got to see some wildlife outside the windows. We also took advantage of the beautiful outdoor space while here. Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Beautiful Aframe in the woods
We really loved our stay at the beautiful aframe near Mt Rainer. The house was very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and all linens were exceptional. The backyard was peaceful and private and even had elk walk the perimeter on a number of days. The hot tub was enjoyed after long hikes. Would highly recommend!

Great Place
It was a great place to stay and relax. It was so clean and had nice furniture. I would like to get back there again in the future.

Great space
I loved the openness of the floor plan. The large common space was perfect for gathering during dinner and the hot tub was great.
5.0
The house itself is quiet and unassuming, but perfect as a launchpad for visiting Rainier and other nearby places. It’s well set up for a family of four or several couples. It’s a little far out so make sure you get your groceries in Enumclaw before you head out. Same if you want a bite to eat, but otherwise it’s great. The hot tub is the perfect way to unwind after a long day.
