Lakeside living at one of our Flagship Rentals properties, a spacious 5-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home along the picturesque shores of Lake Phalen. Lake Phalen Park features a sandy beach area offering canoeing and sailboat rentals and a bike path. Enjoy golf at the Phalen Park Golf Course. Located just 10-15 minutes from the Mall of America, MSP Airport, and Downtown Minneapolis, and a quick drive to Downtown St. Paul, Xcel Energy Center, Ordway theaters, and Children's museums nearby. Spacious 5 bedroom, 4,700 sq ft home. Centrally located near in St Paul near International Airport, Mall of America, downtown Minneapolis & St Paul. Upper two levels of home, 4,700 sq ft. Locked Owner’s Apartment & Garage: The owner’s personal items and office are located in a separate area in the lower level of the 3 story Property and garage– completely separate main entrance – no cross traffic. These areas are not included in the Agreement. The owner retains the right to access & use the Owner’s area during this Rental Period. Do not block garage door access to the 3rd – single garage door – as the owners may access these areas of the home 24/7/365. Guests have exclusive use of the 1st and 2nd floor of the home. The neighborhood shows pride of ownership and the Lake Phale Regional Park includes a golf course, swimming beach, boat rentals and many miles of paved trails. There is public bus transpiration nearby. • Guests will receive a Rental License Agreement via email for electronic signature and a copy of their driver’s license before check-in. • The booking guest, at least 25 years old, is the Responsible Party and must be present throughout the reservation. • The owner's Guest Suite and garage are exclusively locked and accessible to owners only; guests have exclusive access to the upper two floors via separate entrances. • Month-to-month guests must provide proof of renters/homeowners insurance naming the Property owner as an additional insured. • Off-street parking for up to two cars without obstructing garage access; street parking nearby allowed. • Monthly discounts available off-season. • Additional terms and conditions provided via Rental License Agreement, including for Instant Bookings

My family and I loved staying at this house. Eight of us spent nine days over Christmas at this property, and it was a perfect setting for our family holiday. The home is spacious and clean, and there are trails around Lake Phalen right outside the front doorstep. We will stay here again!

roomto gather. There is a great walking path around Lake Phalen right across the street. William was very prompt and helpful with any questions we had. You will enjoy your visit

The accommodations of this home were perfect for our reunion group of longtime friends from all over the country. Spacious rooms made everyone comfortable. Walking around the lake and spending time on the patio were most enjoyable. Grocery and convenience stores were nearby, and the driving time to the many sights, museums and restaurants in Minneapolis and St. Paul were good. A day spent in Stillwater, MN was delightful This particular location is easily accessible from the airport.

Clean, spacious, pretty. Great location for our family which enjoys being outside. Big yard, nice patio, and great running trail. We enjoyed the zoos, parks, and children’s museum.

This was a great location for us to hold a week-long family reunion. Its proximity to the lake was wonderful, as it allowed the older members to sit outside and watch the sunrise and allowed the younger members to go swimming at least every day. It was also easily drivable to lots of restaurants and attractions in the area.
The bedrooms were great and there were plenty of bathrooms for the entire crew. The ground floor master was perfect for the mobility-challenged guests.
The only snag was that the air conditioner did not work for the first twelve hours when we arrived during a record heat wave, which made for an unpleasant night, but the management was easy to deal with and the problem was resolved by morning.
Overall, we loved our stay and definitely recommend this property!

Spacious home with nice neighborhood. But what we like most about it is the cleanliness. This is probably the best cleaned home we have seen so far from VRBO.

This house is beautiful inside. It’s styled well. It’s spotless. I loved it because it was very quiet. The house is large so it was easy to be in a quiet place. We’ll stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything for the property was as advertised. We were in town for our daughter’s college graduation with 9 adults including 2 sets of grandparents and everyone had everything they needed for a peaceful getaway between events!

Spacious accommodations with nice views and access to Lake Phalen walk trails. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect for large family. Centrally located with easy access to twin city activities. Twenty minutes from the airport.

The house is beautiful, spotless, very comfortable, with all the amenities and appliances needed to cook for a big crowd, and with such a comfortable living room with a gas fireplace where to spend evenings and play boardgames. Warm and welcoming. It exceeded our expectations for a group of 12.
We would definitely stay there again !

The home was very nice, with clean, specious bedrooms and bathrooms. We were grateful for the shade tree in the front which allowed us to be outside and have views of the lake. The house sleeps a maximum of 12 and we found a nearby short term rental for the remainder of the family (5 more). We were disappointed about our inability to gather as a full family for meals at this house due to their occupancy limit of 12 including any day guests. (Except for one night when we were given permission to exceed 12).

A good choice for our family with lots of space. We enjoyed the outdoor patio area and walking the trails by the lake. A quiet neighborhood allowing us to sleep well. Bill was very prompt to fix a shower head in the master bedroom.

The home was very spacious with a huge kitchen area. We especially took advantage of walking around Lake Phalen everyday. It has a beach and splash pad for those to enjoy. You need to walk there or just a short drive to the other side of the lake. You won't be disappointed in renting this home!

Family gathering
We had a wonderful experience with this rental. The home was very inviting the moment we stepped into the porch! Loved the idea of taking your outside shoes off before you enter the home. The home was very spacious with a huge kitchen area. We especially took advantage of walking around Lake Phalen everyday. It has a beach and splash pad for those to enjoy. You need to walk there or just a short drive to the other side of the lake. You won't be disappointed in renting this home!

Stayed with a group of 8 adults and 3 kids aged 6 and under. House was spacious and gave us plenty of space for together time or retreating to a different area for some space. Two large tables for eating and playing games. View of the lake was a nice bonus and we enjoyed the easy access to the walking trail as well. Kitchen was stocked with what we needed. Only issue was the AC didn't seem able to keep up, temp was 77-78 degrees in the evenings after running AC all day but cooler in other areas of the house (so not working consistently throughout the house). Otherwise all was great and thankfully we had some cooler days and evenings to keep the house temp down.

We were very happy with the property! Everything was as advertised. The house was very spacious, even for all 12 of us. It was a great way to have multiple families (including kids) stay at the same place together. We loved having the lake and park so close. Neighborhood was very nice and felt safe, very close to grocery stores and easy to get anywhere in the cities. Thank you!!

Great for multiple families!
We were very happy with the property! Everything was as advertised. The house was very spacious, even for all 12 of us. It was a great way to have multiple families (including kids) stay at the same place together. We loved having the lake and park so close. We did need to reach out to the property owner who was prompt and helpful. Lake Phalen is just across the street, and views of this placid lake are accessible from many rooms in the house. There is a stunning walking path around the entire lake that eventually takes you to a beach as well as boat rentals - which is an incredible amenity. The house was typically northeast of many activities we wanted to do in the cities of St Paul and Minneapolis, accessible after an easy 15 minute door-to-door drive. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking in this area.

Large spacious home
My immediate family stayed in this property. We had a great experience overall. The property was clean and maintained. The home was a perfect launching point for seeing the city and offered an array of outdoor activities in its neighborhood. I don’t really have any complaints with this property, but I do have a couple words of caution. The wood floors in the entryway are incredibly slick. They did have a mat over this area, but the floors were so slick that the mat would even slide. I let the property manager know, so hopefully this issue will be resolved. Lastly, the stairs leading up to the second floor are rather steep. Our adventurous 2 year old had fun making us all nervous. Neither of these issues would deter us from renting the property, but it’s always good to be informed.

Great location for our family trip
You can't beat the location and the home is a very nice well kept residence. My wife and I along with our three kids were in town to visit with family and the house allowed us to enjoy lake Phalen along with the park amenities. The house had plenty of space for our family. For anyone looking to rent this home in the future it is important to read the contract thoroughly before committing. It does place a good amount of responsibility on the renters including additional fees for more than 4 guests along with limits on the number of guests allowed, requires insurance instead of a damage deposit, you will have cleaning responsibilities in addition to the cleaning fee, etc. Bill was easy to work with and did occupy the private residence in the basement while we were there. The reason for our four stars is that the house advertised at a lower price but after paying for the insurance, additional guest fee and amenities like shampoo, conditioner, etc it made for a more expensive trip.

Immaculate house at a beautiful location!
We were so delighted with our stay and experience. We got the impression that the owners take great care and pride in their beautiful home, and it shows. It is a bright, clean, spacious, beautiful place, at a great location right on Lake Phalen. A wonderful place to hang out inside or outside the home, enjoying the view, or to access the lovely walking path around the lake. Highly recommend the experience, and we hope to be able to return!

Great family home. Owner who was on site and available was supportive and helpful. An amazing property that served us well as a family base for our sons wedding.

Long Weekend
Registration was simple. Only surprise was we found out owners are living in the lower level of house, but that ultimately didn’t matter because their presence was transparent throughout the stay. The nicest part was the separate walking and biking trail around the lake and the very nice Lake Phalen public golf course on the west side of the lake. It and the adjacent park and swimming beach are very well manicured, policed, and life guarded. We felt safe and comfortable every day.
