About this house rental
Located in Lake Conroe, this lovely house for $392 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This beautiful lakefront home has all that any vacationer desires. It overlooks the sparkling waters of Lake Conroe and is upgraded with vinyl wood floors for easy care, spacious open rooms with plenty of relaxing and sitting areas, fully stocked cute kitchen, quartz countertops and all appliances, high beamed ceilings and beautiful windows with French doors across the back for lake viewing. Please feel free to use the full-size washer and dryer where a few detergent pods will be provided. The house offers two bathrooms with 12 bath towels provided we ask you to bring your own beach towels. The large deck is complete with outdoor furniture, outdoor kitchen with fridge and large gas grill, gas fire pit for cooler evenings and marshmallow roasting, a Rock wood burning fireplace, plenty of room for lounging and sunbathing and a 2 story boat dock for relaxing and enjoying meals and sunsets. And just in case We also offer Internet for those that need to do a little work or stay connected. We are conveniently located to a small store, delicious restaurant with live music offered on the weekends that you can enjoy from the outside deck. With lots of lake activities to offer including fishing, boating, swimming and lake viewing you will probably want to stay put but it is also Convenient to The Woodlands, Houston’s downtown and a day trip to Dallas or Austin. Historic Montgomery Village, 5 minutes away, offers antique shopping, souvenirs, and a must-see Cowboy church with weekly rodeos. Drive twenty minutes south to shop at The Woodlands Mall and upscale marketplace with water taxi along its riverway. Downtown Houston offers an abundance of world-class museums, professional sporting events,concerts,theatre, shopping and more. Plan to visit the Astrodome, NASA LBJ Space Center,the Museum of Fine Arts, Herman Park and Galveston if time allows. Or just enjoy the beauty of the Lake, boat, ski, sun and relax! This terrific home was really fully equipped…even had a hand mixer!
The description mentioned music from next door… the had a good blues band playing so honestly I enjoyed it.
We had four generations there for Mothers Day. My 84 year old mother enjoyed her grand kids and her littlest great granddaughter. I selected the location. Because it was local to family members she does not see often.
Nephew caught 2 good catfish. Cool little piece of sentimental info… yesterday would have been my Mum and Dads 63rd anniversary. Mum was missing him while we were sitting out on the deck. She looked up and a bald eagle flew over. Bald eagles are a sign to us that Dad is still with us. One flew over the church just before his celebration of life… and one flew over the church when my nephew got married! She blew the eagle a kiss.
We hope to stay at the house again… for longer.

Amazing for grilling and chilling
This property was amazing for me and 9 other friends. We enjoyed everything. The grill is great, the outdoor patio is super nice as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

One caveat on Friday and Saturday nights is live music from nearby restaurants/bar. A stay beginning on Sunday would avoid this. However such businesses come and go; music groups too. Several daytime guests expressed interest in pursuing a rental agreement.

We couldn't have picked a better house for our lake weekend. The back deck and dock are perfect for those who love the outdoors. There are big beautiful trees to provide shade almost all day! The kids loved the swing and jumping off the second level of dock. The house is close to the marina and restaurant next door. It was easy to get our boat in water at the Shell. We ate dinner Saturday night at the restaurant for our daughter's 16th birthday. The waitresses got everyone to sing happy birthday to her and the live band sang to her too! The house is also close to a little cove that we could paddle over to and kayak and paddle board. The house is nicely decorated and very homey. Feels like you are staying at a friends house for the weekend. It has awesome kitchen island and plenty of seating. Beds and comfortable and everyone talked about how comfy the couch was. We would definitely stay here again. 10/10!

Everything was as advertised with the cottage! We enjoyed the proximity the restaurants and boat launch etc. The views were fantastic and the fishing was good. Lovely lake home right on the water. Clean, comfortable and inviting. Huge deck area with loads of comfortable seating overlooking swimming area so you can keep a close eye on the children. Home has two living areas and a huge dining table that seats ten, as well as a game table for puzzles or cards and loads of seating at the kitchen peninsula.
Dock areas include a swim ladder in the deeper water (7-8 ft, estimate) as well as a set of stairs which give easy access to the shallow water by the shore bulkhead (approx 4ft). The stairs were an excellent entry point for our sit-on-top kayaks.
Owners were so considerate and easy to reach for the few questions we had.
Highly recommended.

Our kids had a blast jumping from the top deck. We also loved the big table inside where we spent many hours working on puzzles. Owner quickly responded to any questions I had. A fantastic vacation!

The house and location were perfect for our family! We spent most of our time on the beautiful, spacious deck. The boat dock was very convenient for our boat.

Overall we enjoyed the property. It fit our needs and was available at short notice. The A/C is great, the kitchen well stocked and the outside deck is spacious and has a grill and fire pit.

Great Family Getaway
We a had a great stay. Our family really enjoyed the easy access to the lake and the boat launch just 100 yards away. We couldn't really use the sun room as a bedroom since it was so bright in there. We instead set up a pack and play in the laundry room for our 9 month old. This rental facilitated some great moments we will forever remember: swimming off the dock, jumping off the boat lift, going for a quick boat ride whenever we wanted, and fishing off the dock as the sun set across the lake. The cherry on top is the sweet moment we had baptizing our 10 year old one morning. It is a lovely rental from what seems to be a sweet family. We will likely visit again!

Lake House
We stayed in home with adult children and grandparents. Location is fantastic. Two story dock for jumping, boat stalls, and waterfront made for a very fun stay! Communication on rental was great. Plenty of room for everyone. We had minor housekeeping issues when we arrived, but owner addressed them immediately. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much for offering your home as a rental. We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Had a great time!
We had a great time. Location is right on the lake with a place for our boat which was wonderful. Kids loved jumping off of the boathouse deck! We even floated in water in front of deck to beat the heat on check in day. Owner very responsive when I texted or had questions.

Weekend getaway
The pictures for the house did not do it justice. It was spacious, the view was excellent, and conveniently placed in the neighborhood. The gas station was right next door (walking distance) along with a rental place for water sports equipment. The checkin and check out was easy and the owner was accommodating to requests made. Wish we would have booked longer!

If you would like to stay on the lake, this house is a good option overall
Pros: Owner is very nice / Good layout -- large family room / kitchen / bedrooms
Nice location on the lake -- not overly busy / nice dock area - my kids did enjoy jumping off of the second story deck / large deck area / bathrooms and kitchen remodeled / full size washer dryer
Cons: Needs some work -- deck has some nails sticking up / outdoor furniture cushions very dated and uncomfortable / master bedroom is a bunk room with its own bath - the top bunk of one of the beds is close to the ceiling fan (my kids would not sleep in that one) / bed broke in one room when my son was sitting on it (luckily they were able to fix it ($118 out of my deposit) kitchen table and chairs seem fragile -- we did not use / 2nd kitchen table nice and sturdy -- We did eat most of our meals outside
In conclusion, I would recommend it - reasonably priced, good amenities overall
